  1. You know what I did this afternoon? I had an operation done... 4x tooth extraction with GA. So I didn't even know it was down. Now I sit here and everything is numb and I'm cranky as can be because whenever I talk I sound like a special olympics athlete and blow spittle at people.
  2. I hate to rain on your parade but this stuff is really overpriced too, especially the abercromber. It's $0.03 cost of manufacture in a sweatshop and then sold off to kids here for upwards of $80. Same crap I can get at the "gap" for ten buckaroos.
  3. True, slay, true. I purchased a fake Prada dress shirt for $45 thinking I had beat the system... well a while ago I went to a local fancy clothing store and whaddya know same gen Prada on sale for $65 dollar a piece... I felt so [censored] off... didn't buy any either, because the store was filled with .... don't want to offend anyone... let's just say I did'n want to get hit on buy the guy behind the cash register. You CAN get a good Mont Blanc pen for $10... so far the best I've seen is the Imperial Dragon: surprisingly good gold... The stuff we buy is under huge mark up you see. The same $80 Mont Blanc pen we buy here you can buy in the GZ market probably for $2... same with everything else, watches included. What really gets me is woman's bags. Upwards of $200 for a knock off LV or hermes or Gucci or Meow Meow etc. Are you kidding?? For the same amount she can get a genuine high quality bag from Banana Republic or whatever it is. Suits... there's another fun one. $150+ for a fake Armani that has all the right labeling but looks so goofy with the ENORMOUS foam shoulder pads like 1980s. For the same amount you can go to a suit store and buy one that actually fits and looks good. As for style? I betcha you would never even know the difference. Buying a fake cell phone for $500 is just the pinnacle of stupid, though. You can get an excellent cell phone from a STORE at that price but it will come with warrantee and, you know, given the programming is genuine it will actually connect to your computer and work how it is supposed to work.
  4. Does it come with the lady?
  5. Ahhh! Put on your sunglasses!! Attack of the bling bling!! I love it!! You're a brave man!!
  6. True true... it may not be the most accurate piece but this is something I would be comfortable wearing to a wedding, upscale social gathering, temple, etc.
  7. Apparently the little girl singing was faked too, lip-sinced to the pre-recorded voice of the original Child determined shortly before the start of the show to be too ugly for the live performance. Poor kid. Scar for life.
  8. Tough clock...
  9. Wow! Nice! I wish some of these were bigger, then I'd have loads of new wallpapers!
  10. That website doesn't look so good. The best Versace I can find just after a quick search... http://www.pc-80108.com/ve10002-20067-char...rtz-p-1856.html I would ask Narikaa to look for something cheaper on his next excursion, though.
  11. Someone actually bought the Titanic DNA! and the $1,000,000 question.... WHY? --- I definitely have to visit NYC Chinatown... looks like a great place to get some fun knock off fashion accessories.
  12. It looks good on you! I wonder what it would look like on a dark black leather strap...
  13. When I was watching the opening ceremony I said out loud: "It's China, guys, I bet this is somehow faked!" My family called me delusional and pessimistic.
  14. It's definitely good news if you're a fan of this particular brand.
  15. Monday: Tues:
  16. It's china we're talking about. There's plenty of child labor to go around. The younger ones make the olympic stuff the older ones make our watches.
  17. WOW. I don't know how somebody can have so many similar looking watches but what I can tell you is that each one looks really special in its own way. My personal favorite is the white faced one because it's so different from the others. I just hope the other watches don't exclude it from anything! And just to be sure, the heavy racial overtones in what I just wrote were 100% unintentional.
  18. The exact ref. no. of the watch in the OP is 2125-1527-53. It is a $100,000 watch.
  19. Thank you for the size comparison! You're not kidding when you say this thing is massive. One would have to be quite generously proportioned indeed to pull off wearing a near 60mm watch without drawing negative attention. Even in terms of thickness it looks bloated like a constipated whale, nothing at all like the sleek timeless elegance of similar styled timepieces from Jaeger Lecoultre, Parmigiani Fleurier, or Maurice Lacroix. The placement of the hour markers seems to have been inspired by Franck Muller, but the lack of lume given the opportunity to really "light things up" is disappointing. Given that Bentley is now a division of Volkswagen doesn't help, and makes the watch feel more like a marketing gimmick than anything else. Hey buddy, you got the car to go with that watch? The greatest shock to me is the MSRP: $30,000. That is absolutely insane. Personally I'm glad the rep exists, because I can't even think how any sane person could give $30,000 for a gen. Thanks for taking the pictures and writing the review, and I'm sorry if my opinionated snippet sounds a little rude - but there are so many things about this watch that seem so wrong (not your replica, the design and distribution of the gen rather) it disturbs me somewhat.
  20. Not just this watch, but finding any example of a Blancpain replica is very tough at this time. A few dealers used to stock one or two models a few years ago but then they all pretty much disappeared off the market. In my time on this forum I've only encountered two pieces, only one of which was owned by a forum regular. To be honest, I do not know of a more elusive brand. Oh, and thanks for all the kind replies everyone!
  21. Blancpain reps are so rare they are almost non-existent. You have to jump through hoops and wait and wait and hope and pray and wait some more and maybe you can find one somewhere. I waited more than a year for my Blancpain replica... and even then it is nothing even remotely close to the magnificence of the genuine tourbillon you suggested.
  22. Surprisingly excellent writing skills for a seventeen year old...
  23. Have you investigated potential offerings from Ulysse Nardin?
  24. I recommend Blancpain Fifty Fathom...
