  1. The XXL is my father's daily beater so I've only handled it for that one photoshoot... As far as I can tell the watch is VERY accurate... even the movement is an Asian copy of the genuine so it looks realistic from the back as well... The lume is very good as well. 59 hour power reserve, according to dad...
  2. I purchased my Railmaster from Narikaa... I think all of the versions are the same, except Narikaa does not drop-ship so he will inspect the watch personally before sending it to you. I paid roughly $120 for my example several months ago. Good luck, any more questions, feel free to ask...
  3. I like it... I will do some research and this might just be my next purchase. I believe this is the watch the prime minister of Poland wears. *PATRIOTISM*
  4. The simple fact is location. I live in a really small "hick town" village where the great majority of people don't give a flying funk about watches or name-brands. My town is a "jeans and t-shirt" trailer trash "Ford F150 McDonalds for Dinner" kind of place. This watch is my flashiest and most "blingy", coupled with it being a Rolex, and I've had a few of compliments. Definitely more than any of my other watches that's for sure. Wearing something like a Nautilus or Aquanaut doesn't feel very rewarding here because outside of a few single digit enthusiasts the public-at-large will simply think it's a wall-mart discount special...
  5. Mahler you have a really unique writing style... I can't get enough of reading your thoughts. What's your original language? I love how you write; "The world of replicas is also a mental challenge to the monopoly of fantasy on ideas." Very poetic.
  6. I suggest giving the company a call, or writing them a letter with printouts of these images. They might be interested in buying back a piece of their corporate history given they are a small manufacture.
  7. I'm bored too... I wanted a "super rep" patek, got one, now what?
  8. I really like your calendar idea Lanikai I will definitely buy a calendar put me down for one good sir!
  9. Check out photos of Danuta Lato - she was 100% natural.
  10. I personally don't like any of this so-called "super rep" business. I don't think its going to be long before the term gains the same notoriety as "MBK". Soon you're going to have every scam site and legitimate dealer labeling everything as a "super rep" and newbies asking confusedly "which super rep is more super and which is the superest?" It's a dangerous game to play and I think the word is slowly doing more harm than good. There are good reps and there are less good reps, ultimately it remains the buyer's responsibility to educate himself or herself regarding the quality of each.
  11. I think you need a bigger signature picture!
  12. That is an insane find! Do you think it is solid 18K???
  13. Hey, at least the markers are covered in luminous... "stuff"
  14. I've made complex spreadsheets and tested the time measurement accuracy of many of my watches. Surprisingly, Asian 21J movements are better than you would initially expect...
  15. You are allowed to sign for someone provided you can prove that you live at the address listed. So I assume if you take your driver license to the post office and say you will sign for your room mate/boyfriend will whose on vacation it should be OK. This is speaking from a very loose knowledge of the Canadian system, things may be different over where you're at.
  16. The little picture you have underneath your name in the forum....
  17. I like everything except the dial and Soviet-style stars around the bezel. The bracelet is really unique.
  18. pictures?
  19. The watch in that picture is 100% genuine. This website has pictures of authentic watches and is selling them as supposed "super reps"... Most watches don't look the same in the store and at home... they have complex lighting systems for which they pay thousands of dollars to make them shine and luster. If you have any concerns I suggest visiting the dealer and comparing them side by side - I think you will see it is genuine. At least I think so, anyway. Good luck and I hope you find what you're looking for!
  20. Look at the instruction manual(s) you get with that watch. "Chapter 17/30: Setting the Time"
  21. I believe Kenberg sells this stuff, at least he used to - I believe he removed the Tiffany section from his forum. I would contact him first. Only problem is you need to buy a minimum of $100 worth of stuff.
  22. I left RWG1 a long time ago... it wasn't really my kind of environment over there. I welcome the refugees and hope they respect the values of kindness, patience, and trust that our members share.
  23. This picture is just wonderful. Thank you. You have captured happiness with a camera.
  24. Rainy day over here, and that means the water-proof MBK Aquanaut is just the thing to strap on! Edit: 2000th post!!!
