  1. Fun cars if you live in a country that doesn't have snow or a road surface other than perfectly smooth tarmac.
  2. Ha ha! Maybe the cow had herpes!
  3. Precisely this is why I adore the Patek Philippe brand. I was in Montreal several months ago where I met a very wealthy business owner, he wore an understated golden ellipse which at first glance would have seemed like nothing special - it was pretty much the opposite of "bling" you could say. These are the quintessential "old money" watches - completely in disguise from prying eyes, and only recognized by a handful of connoisseurs who appreciate their rare beauty and characteristic lines. This man is worth more money than the life savings of every single RWG member combined times three. He chooses to wear a rubber-strapped Aquanaut with pride, knowing that flash is unnecessary when you possess such magnificent wealth.
  4. It's fun! Anyway.... I really enjoyed looking at these pictures, snoxx. The box is really classy and looks not only well made, but also very realistic. I couldn't help but look at your hand, though, is everything alright? It looks like you have a pretty nasty cut there... The MBK-Aquanaut is really a revolutionary achievement in the replica world, because it is the first time Patek Philippe has been given the attention they deserve by a manufacturer. This timepiece not only copies the look, but also the feel, of the genuine article impeccably. It is also waterproof, with tight crown operation and a robust Swiss movement to match. It is actually one of the reasons I am starting to lose interest in reps! Maybe this is why the factories have some unwritten rule about making a rep "absolutely perfect" - once the owner finds a $500 1:1 mirror of a $17,000 luxury sports watch at their fingertips, it's "GAME WON" ! Enjoy your watch, and remember, treat it with the gentleness and care of the real deal to ensure years of happy use!
  5. For some reason this watch just looks uncomfortable. Cool design though.
  6. I love the gentle touch of pink right in the middle It's rare to see a vibrant color contrast like this one in watches (especially reps).... and I like it!
  7. I would not hesitate to put that in my living room. What a great conversation starter!
  8. Oh my! Has it been a year already? I'm a little dizzy this morning so when I read your post I thought you had bought yourself that watch as a holiday present to yourself, and the postman just delivered it. I was about to give you my heartfelt congratulations and ask for more pictures until I scrolled down and realized it might just be time for some coffee right about now.
  9. I think this is an abomination in watchmaking firstly because of its design, secondly because of its distastefulness.
  10. I like this watch because it takes two classic complications and merges them in a design that is very modern and artistic. I would not buy this watch because 1) I can't afford it and 2) if I was getting something that expensive, I would like it to be from a brand with some deep history and tradition.
  11. It's cute; how are the diamonds on this model? PP use very high quality diamonds and the ones I've seen (albeit under AD lighting) twinkle like fire...
  12. Awesome! I think now we definitely need a PP section. Come on!!
  13. By-Tor: you are probably my favorite photographer. All of the pictures you take, the watches look so perfectly clear - like I'm really there with you! Congratulations on another mouth watering series of photographs!!
  14. Yes, however, this is one of the most expensive and addicting clubs I have ever been a member of!!!! Except that I love it!! With all my heart!
  15. Mine is waterproof... but mine is the MBK which is a little more pricey and has a screw out crown. Highly recommended. Can you specify the kind of noise it is making? It is fairly common for the rotors to whirl and sometimes even make clanking noises... just the nature of the mov't placement i guess. Mine doesn't make any noise... Please please please post a full shot with box and paper!
  16. There is an Assioma with ETA pretty widely available I believe; I am told it is a fantastic rep..
  17. Here you go sir! http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...mp;#entry470745 Enjoy and congratulations on the purchase!
  18. The Zigmeister I hope you're having a great time! Whenever I think of you I get this warm feeling in the deepest part of my soul because just reading what you write down with such honor for us is like being touched by an angel. Just thinking of you being so far away is making my eyes a little watery... so I'll keep it short and sweet: have a good trip, you deserve it for all of the hard work and effort you put in every day!
  19. This is why I buy all of my watches from Narikaa now... guaranteed that this craziness won't happen because he QC each one before even buying them...
  20. Some of these new big IWC models are growing on me...
  21. Narikaa could probably pick up any variety of the Day-Date just as long as you provide him with a ref. photo...
  22. Maybe the problem is not with the timepiece but with the diabetes and poor diet KIDDING!
  23. Rob, I think you will make a great dancer.
  24. Ever since I got this one, my other reps have just not spoken to me at all...
