A two-tone chronomat evolution but with TWO TONE BRACELET as well would be very tempting for me... I personally don't have an extensive and precise list like yours. There are just a few things I would like to see come out of the replica community in general... 1. More Breguet models 2. At least one Blancpain model. 3. Mont Blanc fountain pen with correct nib, or at least a nib that doesn't say "PARIS" (It's a German product) 4. Reliable Daytona with seconds at six. 5. More accessories. Rolex boxes for submariners, daytonas... not just datejusts! (These exist!). Mont Blanc wallets, money clips, keychains. Cartier fashion accessories... Branded display stands, hang tags for rare brands, boxes for rare brands etc. (Many of these things exist... in large quantities. Most of them would sell very very well....)

I'm thinking of getting a blue two-tone sub from Josh. It really is a beautiful watch and while I have seen one in public, my current place of residence is not nearly as exotic and exclusive as yours. Have you considered Joshua's Vacheron Constantin Overseas in white or black face? It is quite expensive, and not very recognizable except among enthusiasts, but it may just be the unique look you're going for. The retail price is also quite high, but not ridiculous in such a way it will seem disproportionate to your income & lifestyle. Another good thing about the watch is that the case is a 1:1 reproduction, and because it is so rare, it won't nearly be scrutinized as closely as a sub. The ultra reliable upgraded movement is icing on the cake, too. I would get one myself but... over here nobody knows what a Vacheron Constantin is! I might as well wear a Timex in this case... but it could be a worthwhile thing to look into. Good luck!

I once saw a man, aged in his early 30s, at my local shopping plaza parking lot wearing a red Ferrari shirt and hat. He drove a Hyundai. Granted, a red one. The whole event made me chuckle... I do not like wearing clothing with automotive emblems, even high-end watches - it looks a little 'trailer park' if you ask me. Also, TTK, I don't know if 'presence' and 'charisma' are the two words I would chose to describe you and your personality! ;-)

I read the entirety of your post and I enjoyed it very much. Indeed, all reps have flaws. From the $600 Big Bang that falls apart randomly, to the $568 tourbillon with misspelled word on its face, and even the $4000 solid gold president... but that comes with the territory. I'm not quite sure whether by "flaw" you mean error in design of the watch (that is, closeness to the original it imitates) or damage in manufacture (as in a misaligned bezel, or poorly constructed movement). Both of these aforementioned 'flaws' are present on every rep, in one way or another, and yet I still find myself buying them. Why? Because I love watches, and sadly, I am not a millionaire.

It would be fun to get some RWG members together and go on a walk up and down canal street together... but coordinating that would not be easy!

Well... the Polish president has a massive collection of watches... including a very price FM... in fact on one recent interview they asked him how many he owned and he couldn't remember.

That is what this forum is all about, to help each other where help is due... and I agree with you, it is a unique piece that cannot be compared to a sub or datejust... it is something that goes beyond rep value, it is something that spells elegance, class, and luxury. I am told the watch is a third-generation tourbillon, meaning that it is highly reliable. I also know that people have spent much more on much worse (Mellow Yellow big bang, anyone?) I'll think about it some more. While I do... maybe an owner of the watch can snap a few more pictures for us...

After a closer look at the photos on Josh's site, I can confirm that indeed Guilloche appears misspelled with an "O" instead of a "G". I also assume this is why the watch costs only $568, while the Audemars Piguet Tourbillon housing the same movement and structure is $598. So it is a mistake that essentially means "free shipping," or at least one can imagine it that way. I think the only consolation here is that so few people know what Breguet is, and even fewer know what a Guilloche is, that it's probably not such a big deal... the reason I like this watch so much is because it comes with a deployant. Straps sit very poorly on my wrist unless this important feature is added. Sadly, the AP uses a conventional buckle and will look awkward and "shifted" on me. It's a really tough decision... I could spend the cash for the flash, but I could also get six "super affordables" or two-three "high end swiss made" watches instead. The tourbillon is an impressive complication indeed... but that unfortunate spelling mistake is the only tiny issue preventing me from getting the watch. At the same time, for about $300 more, I could buy the Vacheron Constantin Tourbillon... which has a power reserve and date... but still lacks the deployant as opposed to this entry-level model. They really, really screwed up with that misspelling... I'll give you that much.

You forgot the most important question! Does it actually say "OUILLOCHE" instead of "GUILLOCHE" on the rightmost indication? ..also thanks for all the replies! I might just buy it yet!!

Not an isolated incident... I personally find some of these misspellings quite amusing! Reading through the Mont Blanc pamphlet in French is quite amusing if you know the language... I also bought an Armani suit where the hang tang read "COLUR" These things make me chuckle...

Yes Victoria, I know who you are referring to... his version of the watch is not a real tourbillon. It is merely an exposed flywheel, or 'retrogating tourbillon' if you will. Essentially it's an imitation-tourbillon (once again if I am thinking of who you are referring to) It can be bought for less than $100 and, while very lovely, holds nothing compared to one of these authentic tourbillon movements. The best way I can explain the difference is through film. Hello friends, I was browsing through Josh's site today when I found a watch that really spoke to me. I noticed another member on the forum had purchased something similar and provided us with excellent photos of it, and now I would like to get it for myself. My only concern is the quality. I have heard some people say that these Chinese tourbillons last about 6 months before dying. I would like mine to last a little longer than that! What do you think? Is this watch a winner, or can you recommend something more reliable (tourby) around that price range? I have a strange rule of thumb... if a watch is sold in a store in my town of Ottawa, Canada; it is not rare. For instance; Omega is sold in 3 different locations in ottawa Therefore, Omega is not rare or exclusive. Vacheron Constantin dealer is 500Km away from Ottawa Therefore, VC is rare and exclusive. ...works every time....

Well... the movement and back of the watch is very nice. But to me it looks like you filed the "BREGUET" from it.... Don't get me wrong.. it is a very nice watch that you have 'designed' here, and I'm sure a lot of work went into putting it together, but if I was making a watch from scratch I would want to do at least some minor personalization to make it look as though it was one of a kind. Don't take my comment as an insult, though, please... it's just my opinion... and remember... if it makes you happy, and you want to wear it every day, I am more than happy for your happiness!

No.. I think putting diamonds onto a Breitling is a big misunderstanding. The highly polished stainless steel is already very reflective and eye-catching, stuffing it with fake diamonds is overkill. I do, however, believe the chronomat with white face and gold accents is beautiful. There is, relatively speaking, a small amount of gold on the watch... but it looks gorgeous. I tried on a full gold chronomat evolution at my local jewelry store - it has presence. That, I would not mind wearing. Diamonds? Belong on a lady watch in my opinion...

I don't like the look of these modern phones. I just wish somebody still made phones that look like Dynatacs but have longer lasting battery life. It could be done, easily, and for the cheap.
