Hmm, hasn't ANYONE received this watch yet? It's been weeks since it was out. I'm dying to see a real-life wrist shot.

15K for a stinkin' dial! Puh-leeze... the geekiness of some (apparently very rich) people disgusts me. PS: Here we have a great dial for MBW franken-builders. Anyone?

I don't really care what they're up to. It has been all downhill for Rolex since they released the YMII. GMTII is the only good looking watch they have released lately, but even that one lost the original spirit. I don't like the new Sub case, either... not to mention the DeepSea. I'm just terrified to see what they're going to do to ExpII next. My suggestion: Buy gens of the current 16710, 16610, 16570 and 16600 while you still can. I'm still blaming myself for not buying a 1675 when they were still cheap... and look at the prices now!!!! The prices of the classic models are going to skyrocket... mark these words.

There is no electronic aids anymore in F1 anymore. They got rid of it for this season (if you're referring to the traction control).

This looks exactly like the last year now. Hamilton going for the WDC and Raikkonen driving like a slug. It's the half season now and McLaren seems to be way superior car right now, and Lewis is on fire. But remember the last year. It's still a long way to go. It will be decided between Kimi and Lewis.

Don't know the story behind this particular dial but Rolex has made some weird gen "special order" watches. But most of these are expensive "aftermarket custom dials". Some companies offer them to people who want to ruin their original classic sports Rolexes. Like all those ruby diamond dials for GMT and Sub for example... Ebay is full of them. Those are very difficult to resell, which doesn't surprise me at all.

What a weird watch! Looks like some of these custom dials have grey hour markers too. Makes the white ExpII reps more accurate (kinda).

You should be quite confident of your skills to start breaking up 2 gen Rolexes and swapping the things in them. PS: They made the original GMT (the one without cg's) with white dial. It's among the most sought after gens out there.

ExpII dial in a GMT Master. Blasphemy! PS: The watch is gen without a doubt, I can easily see that from the SELs and case.

It depends on the movement. If it's the new Co-Axial version with red Seamaster lettering it's worth much more. Posting pics of the watch in question is never a bad idea.
