  1. You mean those polished stripes on the bracelet? My watch doesn't have any "sharp edges" and they're not "coated". They're part of the bracelet and they're polished steel, just like they should be. My bracelet doesn't have screws, either. Wonder when these changes have been implemented to the SMP rep? If you lose some of the "coating" (I doubt it's coated) you can put brushed / polished finish back to your watch yourself. http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...topic=20326&hl=
  2. No, both pictures are from a genuine. Wait for my full review, it'll answer all your questions. Maybe Wednesday or Thursday (if I have time). All I can say: The SERIE SPECIALE rep has correct subdial spacing and it's very good rep. Here's a pic of the rep (and what version you should be looking for):
  3. Wonder if it was this one: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...pic=19115&st=15
  4. That black Vulcain certainly looks cool.
  5. Now... remember to scratch and trash them properly before you insert them onto your "beaters". How about driving over them with your Jeep to give that nice "vintage touch"? Seriously: Great news. Forgive my ignorance but isn't the Superdome used only in SD?
  6. Ok, not a big deal really. Thanks for the prompt response admin!!!
  7. We just recently changed our forum display format in another board (music related board) because we eventually got sick to the old format... where avatars are displayed on left of the messages. This format screws up the word wrapping when someone uploads a bigger image... and members endlessly need to scroll the messages to the right in order to read the message properly. Of course this is bigger problem for people who use lower resolution display settings like 1024x768. TRC uses the avatars on top of the messages and it allows use of much larger (wider) images. Wonder how big task it would be to adopt to RWG as well. Of course you'll run into similar problems if you use grossly oversized pictures but the display format used in TRC is much better and reduces the problem a lot. Just a suggestion.
  8. Yep, great to see you back my friend. Was delighted you receive your PM in the morning. I heard about your mother, my deepest condolences.
  9. That's the rare "pointy crown guards" version. Always thought it looked quite weird. Has that GMT hand been red a few decades ago or was it originally like that in this particular model?
  10. Morning. Clicked the red/ black bezel back in and took a fresh wrist shot. This is my favourite GMT color combo. And absolutely perfect watch for the weekend. Now let's get some booze and get the weekend started!
  11. How about Breitling SuperOcean? The heaviest diver watch available (even heavier than 45mm PO).
  12. Oh yes. Completely forgot the Mighty Seamaster 300. Where's the rep God Dammit?
  13. Beautiful watch, congratulations. I'm awaiting my Navitimer (Serie Speciale) to arrive any day now.
  14. Very nice. Slowly but steadily these Breitlings are becoming my favourites.
  15. The case is from an authentic Rolex, that's for sure.
  16. @Nanuq: I'd like to see a picture of your genuine Bond Sub in this same photo setup. I really like how the flames add contrast and character to the picture. Could be so kind and arrange that for me? Thank you in advance for your courtesy and co-operation. By-Tor
  17. Not with the older rep model. See: Genuine mid-90'S Navitimer: Older "Serie Speciale": The placement of subregisters is very accurate in the "Serie Speciale" rep... when compared to its genuine counterpart. Rep 6'o'clock subregister:
  18. Thanks RT. I couldn't resist the temptation anymore, I absolutely NEED a Navitimer.
  19. And we ALL know what you'd like to do to this poor watch. You... you maniac.
  20. I have the best Sub. We have been through this many times. Enough already.
  21. Great Gran. That looks much better than the RWG watch.
  22. I saw those posted to TRC last summer. Very informative. Thanks.
  23. What makes Navitimer very special rep is the correct subdial spacing... due to the copy of authentic 7750 movement used. You rarely see that in reps. I've heard it's a heavy and substantial watch as well. Let's hope so, I'll probably get mine in Monday or Tuesday... and you'll see a huge review of it. The usual problem with this new Navitimer model is the date which doesn't align very well. Older rep version has some problems too, but overall these Navitimers are excellent. The Asian 7750 movement is the usual concern of course.
