They seem to have a ripoff of of Rolex GMT Master as well.
Always the same story. Most of these "frugal" watch companies copy the design of Rolex, Omega and sometimes Panerai. Maybe it's their only way to sell some watches?
Gotta admire Seiko and Citizen. They have followed the trends, yes, but they always had their own approach.
Ok, I was bored. Too long weekend.
So I finally managed to get a clean shot of the dial wave pattern of my Bond SMP... and made a wallpaper. Phew, took me over an hour. Hope you like it.
If you can't decide... go for the Leopard Daytona. Understated elegance at its best.
People will think your Daytona is a fake anyway, so why not add the "shock factor" there?
I don't think I've ever seen a vintage GMT with a Serif font. Most that I've seen use this same font but with thinner numbers... and sometimes darker blue color.
I wouldn't obsess over the colors and bezel numbers too much. Almost all genuine preowned GMT's have replacement inserts. Sellers usually throw in a new insert because it's a cheap way of making the watch look better.
Here's a typical example of a vintage insert:
Edit: Ah, Manuel I see you deleted your question about vintages. Well I answered anyway.
It's an ok bezel. The numbers are a little bit too high (they don't perfectly fit inside the insert ring). But that's just a minor annoyance. It's always hard to tell from the pictures but the colors look ok. Pepsi should have slightly lighter red than Black-Red (Burgundy).
GMT Master II comes with 2 different fonts. We have been going through this gazillion times. Some new genuines have the Serif font, some have this font (so it's correct).
I don't know why so many people insist that the GMT's _only_ come with the Serif font when it's simply not true.
Here are the new GMT's from Basel and they use this same font (non-Serif).
Here's one with the Serif font. Notice the miniscule difference in 2, 4.
I need a Tudor Sub.
When will we see the first replica Tudor Submariner? They have repped Tudor Prince Date (Datejust case), Air King, Precision and other low-end Rollies very well... plus lots of cheap ass TAG's... so why the hell not make a rep of Tudor Sub? One of the great mysteries in replica world.
@slay: The sub 6 IS a chrono hour indicator. El Primero Daytonas have running seconds at 9'o'clock (instead of 6'o'clock). The endlinks are the older style non-SEL. Yes, they're not fitting perfectly to the lugs, is that what bothers you? I think that's kinda typical problem with the older type non-SEL bracelets. Good observation though.
But... I rest my case: this is a genuine (or a frankenwatch).
What do I think? Certainly not my style, but at least it's 100 times classier than the new Rolex Cellini models.
Very unusual watch. No hour hand at all?
Looks like older model of Daytona (with El Primero movement). If you asked me I'd say it's real... subregisters, case and bracelet look good... but then again I'm no Daytona expert.
Palpatine did all mods for me, including the insert & aged tritium look. I don't have skills to duplicate that. You can find the review/pictorial of this watch from my signature. Here's a few articles of Tommy's vintage projects.
