  1. It's a rep. The bezel is misaligned and pearl is wrong. Someone's going to get scammed with that one for sure.

  3. Hmm, Orange definitely over the modern Sub. But with vintages it'd be a tough call. Although I love the PO I actually still prefer the "Bond" SMP over it. Dunno why, it just feels more rugged and handsome on the wrist.
  4. Welcome. Another Scando... nice! Since you're into Omegas I recommend you read this first: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=426 And about Broad Arrow, well... read this too (and check the references in the Omega guide) http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=429 Good luck.
  5. This is linked in my Omega guide: http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...topic=21298&hl=
  6. Last week was rough for me and the weekend even worse (work wise). Starting the new week with this:
  7. That's a killer watch Randy... and probably a great investment. The prices of the SM 300 have skyrocketed. Congratulations, it's a beauty.
  8. Damn... caught!!! That's me alright. At least I look better than the Breguet owner. Neil, you disappoint me. I always thought you looked like Cary Grant.
  9. First: Congrats, that's definitely my #1 favourite TAG. You certainly don't have to service your genuine TAG in a few years. Genuine watches should always come properly lubricated and regulated. If you experience any problems there's always the warranty. This is one of the reasons why you're paying premium for the gen quality. Just enjoy the beauty. That's a great watch choice.
  10. Wow, that's a BEAUTY!!! I need the 4th gen PO. Wanna sell yours?
  11. Genuine Rolex bracelet feels extremely cheap and the replica bracelet (properly oiled and polished) is practically 100% identical with the genuine. The old solid middle link rep bracelet was WAY heavier and had much better feel than a genuine Rolex Oyster band. I always wonder why most noobs think that genuine Rolexes are heavy watches. Nothing could be further from the truth... they feel flimsy and featherweight when compared to Breitling, Omega or even Oris. Even most $150 Invictas are heavier. My father's genuine GMT Master weighs 120 grams!!! You wouldn't believe how flimsy the bracelet is, it feels almost ridiculous compared to my replica Seamaster. PS: Congrats for the TAG PunkJr. Post some pics when you receive it, unfortunately we don't see TAG reps very often.
  12. I've been wearing my "stealth watch" in the past 3 days. Unlike its genuine El Primero counterpart this bad boy is quartz accurate.
  13. Thank you Sir. It's one of my best shots. Even a dummy like me can sometimes shoot a lucky one.
  14. I've owned 11 reps but currently own just 6. So I guess that's the number that counts (not genuines, right?) = 1534

    Two GMT's

    Yep, three watches in one.

    Two GMT's

The way I see it: The black/black lacks the characteristics of the GMT Master... it looks like Submariner with strange red extra hand. Personally I couldn't even consider the all-black GMT, it leaves me completely cold... although it's a good looking watch in its own merits. Perhaps it's the same thing with Planet Ocean. Black one is more classic and less "garish" but nobody will notice you're wearing a Planet Ocean.
  17. Sorry this is OT but that Bond SMP Chronograph is a killer. Why the rep factories haven't repped this PERFECT WATCH is beyond me.

    Two GMT's

Personally: I prefer the black and red version. Here's a "flasher" version of the pic for you.
  19. Same watch, different insert. If you can't decide which one is nicer... get 'em both.
  20. First of May today. It's national holiday in my country and of course I had a horrible hangover in the morning. Drank WAY too much yesterday... The party was great though - and my Breitling got a few nice comments from people, still wearing it.
  21. For some strange reason many people think Rolexes are a heavy watches. Nothing could be further from the truth. GMT and Explorer II are around 126 grams. You should see my father's old genuine GMT, it's very flimsy and light. Rollies are lightweight watches compared to Omega, IWC and Breitling. Here's the weight chart for you. These weights are measured with all bracelet links attached:
  22. Breitling rivals Omega and Rolex in quality with all their models, even GMT. I especially like the dial and brushed/polished bracelet and prefer this one over the titanium models. What a beautiful watch, congrats!
  23. Exactly. Going to a police station with a joint was a good comparison too.
  24. Flaws or not, this is one good looking watch (and rep). Definitely on my list.
