  1. Thanks for getting the wristcheck started Subzero, I've been busy. Only PAMs, huh? Rolly for me today. Same old wristshot, sorry.
  2. Seen Yes twice but only once with Howe. 1st row...and yes he indeed can play. I don't wholeheartedly love Yes because some of their stuff is a bit pretentious. But Starship Trooper is always mindblowing.
  3. Indeed. With nickel movement and OMEGA engraving this would be fantastic. The pearl still sucks though.
  4. I absolutely LOVED Lordi. They were so unbelieveably TASTELESS... that's camp humor at its finest!
  5. Bon Jovi. I was 15 I think. Went there with a girl (so it was actually a date). The concert sucked, I was drunk as a pig (who can listen to Bon Jovi soberb?) and didn't even get laid. What a horrible night! PS: Iron Maiden rocks. They're still good, I've seen them 4 times!
  6. Cool links indeed. Thanks for sharing Andreas.
  7. This will be a busy weekend. Work tonight, friend's wedding tomorrow and another friend coming to visit me from Germany on Sunday. My watch choices for the weekend: If Pierce Brosnan can wear this with a suit then why not me?
  8. Doubt it. People have celebrated RWG's funeral many times already, but the corpse has risen from the ashes every time. It will happen now, too.
  9. Yes, this is indeed excellent and informative post. Thanks hanswurst.
  10. Nothing wrong with the quartz chronographs, imho... if you accept the ticking small seconds hand and sometimes wrong subdial arrangement. Sometimes they're very nice watches for the money and they usually don't have any reliability issues, either. Lots of genuine TAGs are quartz (not Link chrono though). Here's my Ebel 1911 (quartz rep that I purchased year ago) reviewed. Very high quality watch, been very satisfied with it: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=918&hl=
  11. That's nice too. But doesn't it have all-stainless bracelet? Two-tone watch needs a two-tone bracelet, imho.
  12. No it's not. Only the older model GMT's had the "Bond" bracelet. Sql_pl's GMT is probably from the "first batch".
  13. It's GREAT to see this watch finally repped properly. Of course the bezel/insert alignment is still f'd up but that's probably not a surprise to anyone.
  14. I agree, Breitling needs to be "flashy". It's time for me to get one TT watch, and I wish this one were repped properly.
  15. Wow! I love this thread already! Wonderful watches ltz!!!!!!! Keep 'em coming guys!!!
  16. @highdef: I just noticed she has a "chopped" right arm. You have a weird taste in women my friend. PS: Sorry for hijacking my own thread with this crapola. Perhaps I can put myself into ignore?
  17. @Ubi: Yes I've seen those watches before but I never get tired of seeing them again. Impressive collection.
  18. I think he might have a valid point afterall. Giving it a second look... hmm...
  19. How so? I didn't see any [censored] reflecting from the dial.
  20. @robert and jetsons: Great collections. And I still love that Longines. Not to mention that Tudor Sub. @marrick: Isn't that Seiko model still in production? Looks very familiar... and nice. Keep 'em coming. I'm sure we'll have a good thread. Lots of members own plenty of great vintages.
  21. I've been wearing this quite a lot lately (since Thursday I think): For Wednesday I'll probably switch to this. Just wound it... ready for action.
  22. Post your rep/genuine vintages. I only have these two:
  23. I sent a watch in a registered airmail letter to UK (from another EU country) and the parcelforce didn't give ANY information during the whole (about 10 days!!!!!) shipment. So it took 10 days *within the EU* (withot ZERO tracking information). If it has been only 15 days since Andrew shipped them I wouldn't worry about it. Or do you have specific information that the watches indeed ARE held in the customs? This is one of the reasons why I *only* buy from fellow EU-dealers and members. The shipments don't even go through customs. I'm more than happy to pay a few bucks extra for that peace of mind.
