digitalend.com offers plenty of quality material...designed by the best artists on the Web. I appreciate their style a lot. Very thoughtful and intelligent stuff. They're naturally my first choice when I'm looking for the best STFU material. A few masterful samples for your enjoyement:

That's a fantastic rep...and great pictures too. Thanks for sharing. @coolfire: I think it's 44mm. Quite a beast.

I'll start the new week with my Breitling Navitimer. Damn this is a nice watch. I try to shoot some new pics one of these days.

Very beautiful collection. You need ladies' Omega Constellation next.

I already ordered one. I hope I won't get any customs trouble with the package. -
Review of Omega Planet Ocean 4th Generation
By-Tor replied to By-Tor's topic in By-Tor's Watch Reviews
Yes, unfortunately I've had problems with customs. Last summer my both my shipments from 2 different Asian dealers got stopped. I got my watches after hell of a trouble but I don't want to go through that anymore. Narikaa, Precious Time and Homer are all UK-based. -
Neil Comes Through...and Here Are The Pics!!!

Beautiful watch Neil...and fantastic pictures as usual. I agree, that's the nicest TAG hands down...along with the blue Aquaracer 2000 chrono. -
Good idea. But this only works in airplanes. People who can afford a IWC don't travel by bus or subway.
-
Yeah, Super Avenger too. What really puzzles me about Chronomat...we have almost all different Breitlings repped (better or worse) why the hell there's no Chronomat rep? It has the same subdial arrangement as the Serie Speciale rep. I understand that the demand for TAG, Ebel and Zenith, Tudor and Hublot isn't so great, but Chronomat...come on!!! That's very, very popular and highly recognizable watch.
-
Yep. Too bad TAG gets little respect... and most WIS look TAG down their noses. But all their higher end models are very attractive. The Link Chronograph series and Aquaracer 2000 Chrono especially. Lovely watches. I think I have to buy the new Link Chrono rep.

Well, Zidane against Ronaldinho today...and you saw what's the difference between men and boys. Z is still the best in the world. He's the only totally dominating midfielder in football since Maradonna and will be remembered as one of the greats. Ronaldinho did absolutely NOTHING in this tournament and the whole Brazilian team was so overhyped, it's not even funny.

England has never won a penalty shootout in World Cup (and European Championship). I actually felt sorry for them...I'm sure the players felt the pressure of history in their shoulders. How can it always go that way? Portugal goalie did pretty well though.

I totally agree. Absolutely nothing wrong with quartz replicas. Especially if they're TAGs...as long as the 2 subdials are centered at 12 when the chrono is reset (like in your watch). I'd much rather take a dead subregister than the useless small 24 hour hand. I doubt they make quartz Carreras but how many people would know? I wish they'd made better Aquaracer chronograph with quartz movement. -
I actually forgot SeaMaster Chrono and vintage SeaMaster 300M from the list.

We've done this so many times...but why not update the situation? To refresh everyone's memory. My top-10 list of reps that don't exist, but would definitely sell among the community: 1. Breitling Chronomat (steel and TT). Definitely my #1 favourite Breitling. We've seen so many great Breitings and I want to believe it's just a matter of time when this one surfaces. Actually, I find it quite amazing that this very famous and popular Breit haven't been repped. 2. Hublot Bing Bang. I mean, how can you NOT love the design of this watch? There have been some rep attempts but I'd be glad to buy a high quality version. 3. More Ebels. I've said this many times: There are lots of beautiful variations in the 1911 and Tarawa series. 4. TAG Aquaracer 2000 Chronograph (blue dial). It's beyond me why they don't want to properly replicate a watch model that would sell like hotcakes. Yes, the quartz model exists but the reports aren't that great. 5. Tudor Submariner. These genuines have expoded in value. I'm 100% sure this model would sell. 6. Zenith El Primero. Come on!!! Give us at least SOMETHING from this legendary series. 7. Rolex vintage GMT Master. This would sell so much, it's not even funny. All attempts to replicate this watch have been more or less laughable. Even the MBW model is horrible. 8. Tudor Tiger Chronograph. Why not? 9. Rolex modern SeaDweller. Personally, I'm not that interested but lots of people would like to buy a modern SD with correct case thickness. Rep factories still use the Sub case which is inaccurate. 10. TAG Autavia. Another watch that doesn't "speak" to me (design wise), but it's one of the most sought after TAG reps in the community (along with Monaco). I'm sure you have something to add here.

Posted this same thing almost a year ago. Still no decent rep available. What's keeping? TAG Aquaracer 2000 Automatic Chronograph:

Very beautiful. Great pics too. Congrats for a great choice. PS: Why didn't you post to TAG picture gallery section? Posting to brand specific subforums would help people to find these reviews and pictorials easier. -
Yes. It's fake.

Uhhh...Argentina vs. Germany starts in 45 minutes. Two football giants, should be a wonderful matchup. After so many great reps I didn't think I could be THAT impressed with anything anymore but the 4th gen PO is just UTTERLY AMAZING. Can't get it off my wrist.

Polishing it to mirror finish is easy. You need to buy abrasive stainless steel polishing paste from a jeweler. I have never used a dremel...just used a lot of hand force. Perhaps dremel gives even better shine? Giving the brushed finish back is surprisingly easy too. There are lots of things you can use to brush (Garryflex, Scotch Brite Pad). Of course it's more difficult from small areas (lugs, around the crown, etc.) but bracelet and case back are easy. Here's a good article of polishing a Seamaster Pro (from TimeZone). http://home.xnet.com/~cmaddox/article/maso...let_refurb.html I used that method with my rep. Worked like a charm. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=4509 Good luck.

Review of Omega Planet Ocean 4th Generation
By-Tor replied to By-Tor's topic in By-Tor's Watch Reviews
Hmm...how can you tell if a watch has the AR coating or not? I thought only the genuine has AR coating (which gives the blue tint on the pictures). But now that you mentioned it...my PO dial looks raven black from all angles (and I don't recall the 3rd gen being like that). PS: I get rid of the watch dial/crystal reflections with keeping a black/white plastic surface (depending on the watch dial color of course) in correct angle when I'm shooting the watch. -
Just stay away from my sales threads guys. This goes for sale today. $450. First Daytona with perfect subdial spacing. PM me if you're interested.

Argentina - Germany: Two football giants and 1986 and 1990 finalists. Wins: 1-1 but 1990 championship was awarded to Germans by a dubious penalty. I think it's Argentina's turn now. They're certainly the more talented team if you just look at the roster but never underestimate the Germans. I'm sure if they're tailing 0-2 Karl-Heinz Rummenigge comes out of somewhere and ties the game.
