  1. Hi Ryaku. I totally agree. Aquatimer is a great looking watch but unfortunately the yellow one is my favorite and it has not been repped. Or they have but the gen yellow is only available in Ti. I doubt I'll be buying any more watches anytime soon though. I just got the B01 and that's going to be my last one for now.
  2. UPO = good.
  3. Blue Fish today.
  4. Please resize pictures to MAXIMUM 1024x768 before you post 'em. This kind of gigantic photos can take MINUTES to load up for people. Here's a good freeware utility for resizing http://www.irfanview.com/ PS: Welcome to RWG!
  5. My collague has a gen TT Sub and I've seen it/handled it many many times. The bracelet possesses quality like all Rolex bracelets but even the TT bracelet is still very lightweight and flimsy. Trust me, the wrapped oiled and waxed Noob bracelet feels and looks decent enough. Actually I thought it was surprisingly good. Ask bklm if he can get you a spare. I made a small review of this TT Sub a few years ago. LINK.
  6. I have no idea but if I have to guess I believe they might fit. That would be just logical as there is actually very little room to position the lugholes when the SEL measurements are somewhat similar. And you can always twist and bend the springbars a little if nothing else helps.
  7. The problem with all that "aftermarket" gold stuff is that you never know what you're going to receive. Plus you have ZERO guarantees how the SELs will fit, etc. The wrapped Noob version actually had a ok bracelet. The SEL fit wasn't great but other than that it was decent. It had to be oiled and waxed though... but it was pretty good. And I've never seen anyone reporting the gold wearing off of these... only reports about some brown spots from sweating (and those can be polished off).
  8. @Stephane: What happened to your old franken GMTII from MM? That was a beauty.
  9. Amazing watches guys! @Cats: Those SELs look great! @LHOOQ: Great shots of the Speedy. I'm wearing this handsome Avenger today.
  10. I had 2 Invictas too... years ago. Both had the exact same problems that you just described. And the other wasn't waterproof at all. In my eyes, Invictas are not "gens". They're just cheap reps that have been "branded" somewhere in Indochina. Maybe they produce some better watches too and I was probably unlucky, but the two that I had were absolutely terrible. At least reps are honestly counterfeit and shady products.
  11. Great collection. The gen Electric Blue is a stunner. That dial is so nice in person.
  12. Looks great Cats! Back to my newest Ling.
  13. It's 7750 seconds at '3 modification. Read Zigmeisters review of it: http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/77688-movement-review-a7750-running-seconds-at-3/
  14. Generally genuine endlinks aren't necessarily great for replicas as reps have different case measurements/tolerances. Of course we're talking about half millimeters and such, but you might be just as lucky with endlinks from another rep. Badly fitting endlinks is a notorious problem with all cheaper reps.
  15. Back to Aquaracer for Friday.
  16. Zeppelin & Pink Floyd were my "first loves" too. Zep was probably my most important band when I was a teen. Nowadays from Zep I just listen to IV, HoTH and In Through The Outdoor whereas Presence and Physical Graffiti don't work for me anymore. I and II have some occasional great moments.
  17. This is probably not news to many... and while low quality mp3's can never match the real CD, it's still quite cool to make mp3 collections of your favorite songs with this: http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ I just composed a collection of my favorite Bad Company and Van Halen songs... both bands that I used to listen to a lot when I was a kid. Now I can only stomach a few songs from each album.
  18. Funny but it's as far from genuine Omega as bicycle is from an elephant. @Red: That's a priceless ad.
  19. Thanks all for the comments. King has the new light blue MOP deal for sale, so that has been repped too. I seriously doubt the dial itself is that great of a replication but it's finally out anyway. http://www.kingwatches.net/ Edit: Kings pics don't work for me. I can see only the preview.
  20. I went to TRF once, logged in a few times in three, four days and followed their fake reports subforum. This was a few years ago. The two "main experts" actually reported many fakes but also many 100% legit and beautiful Rolexes to Ebay as fakes. Because "the bezel '2 font was off" etc. or something along with this... I politely told these Einsteins that the watches were actually ok because there can be variation there, etc. and they got really offended. Then this clown, a bald headed Captain Kangaroo with half a million posts (JJ or whatever) came over to defend his friends and tell me how wrong I was to argue against these experts. Eventually the guys admitted their mistake but they said they usually report them "just in case". I got a PM from the main guy, Mike (who's actually a REAL Rolex expert) and he agreed with me 100% and said that he doesn't bother to visit the fake report forum because of these two guys. I mean, they regularly reported legit watches to Ebay... and it looked like they reported the watches 24 to 7. How awful is that... I mean, I would be totally pissed off if one of those jerks reported my legit Ebay sale. You cause maximum damage when you're both hardworking and stupid. Never went back there and never will. 90% of the post content is simply pathetic.
  21. Deniz did nothing wrong. But this thread is closed because I have a feeling where it might go. Sorry guys.
  22. Yeah and how do those people who "pointed it out" know the term in the first place? Because they learned it here. It's all big hypocricy in the gen forums. I own gens and occasionally share my photos at TZ.uk and BreitlingSource but frequenting the discussions at places like Rolex Forum is very uninspiring. Here you can have best of both worlds without hypocricy... just love for the watches (all of them).
  23. Yeah... and most likely that "Rolliefan" is a rep forum regular. They are best spotting the reps of course. Many of those hypocrites are members here... in the gen forums they're talking about "fake crap" but their Jekyll personality is here, obsessing about the newest mods for his MBW Sub.
  24. Noobmariner is a great replica but it's funny how some people are obsessed of getting "called out" when they're wearing something like WM9 which is light years better. TRF is the major Rolex forum and some of the posters in that thread were the oldest regulars, and they can't spot a friggin' Noobmariner as a fake. How do you except a regular guy from the streets to "call you out"? This simply proves once again how good the reps are. Even the standard ones, out of the box.
  25. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=137400 PS: Posting rep pics to gen forums is a major no-no... I'm not advocating that by any means. But those TRF "experts" are so funny.
