as the title states does anyone know where I could find a 026. I checked with the usual dealers and it seems they are out of stock. Is there any dealers I am missing here?

you and me both. The only version I see is the one that Josh is offering which has the writting on the caseback and from his pics the caseback gasket seems to have the same hex shape as the caseback???

I just looked at Josh and his has Royal Oak on the caseback??? Who is selling one without the writting on the back?

My firs rep ever was my Link chrono in blue that I bought shortly after it was released. Over the last year or so I noticed I hardly even wore it anymore but I did not want to sell it. The other day I was looking for a watch to wear and decided to wear the Link. After having it on a while I started to wonder what it would be like on leather so I dug through my box and found a thick black leather strap with blue stitching and tossed it on. It was like a new watch to me again. I honestly think it looks better on leather and to be honest it's been on my wrist every day for the last week. Now I just need to Find a different strap to put on it with a Tag marked buckle of some sort. I know most rep leather is garbage and with the language barrier from the dealers I can't just ask them what they have. I will have to be specific as in "do you sell just the strap and buckle for "xxxx" watch" with the "xxxx" being their exact refrence number. Any input from people who have gotten their Tag rep with the leather and buckle as to how decent it is would be a big help. I would prefer a deployant but could also go with the normal buckle with tag insignia.

So my Orange Monster took a pretty big hit and as a result it is running about 4 seconds fast per min. I opened it up thinking maybe the adjustment got out of place and to my surprise it was where the factory set it. So in attempt to fix it I moved the adjuster all the way to the"-" and no change, still +4 sec. Per min. I had thought about taking it to a watch smith but the only one I can find has a $50 minimum rate, seeing as I can get a new movement for $45 I figured no time like the present to try and work on it myself. I have all of the tools needed and git the overall steps but the one thing bothering me is the seconds hand. This is a non hacking movement so how do I know when the shaft for the second hand is at 12??

The other night I put on my SMP chrono and the time was correct. I checked the time about 20 min later and it was about 5 min slow. I re-set the time figuring maybe I screwed up. Later on that evening I checked the time and it was about 20 min fast. I knew I didn't screw up twice so I took the watch off and gave it a shake. Sure enough the min hand moved on its own. If I shook it one way the min hand would slide a good 15-20 min forward and if I shook it the other way it would slide back. I am guessing this is not an easy fix whatever it is.

I know this is probably like the infamous "Who has the best sub" but I am trying to locate the best rubber PAM strap. I ordered one from a member here who was supposedly producing the closest to gen strap possible. Turned out to look like something that you would find on a $5.00 canal st. rep. Collected dust better than a swiffer sweeper and had excess rubber at the mold seams, so bad in fact I took a razor blade to shave it down. THe deployment I got with it was decent but the strap plain sucks. Is the "Ultimate" rubber strap that Trusty and Josh sell any good? Do they collect dust? Is there something better out there other than the gen obviously. While I am thinking of it and on the topic has anyone tried one of the rep velcro/nylon straps? Are they worth it? Well I just checked my PM box again and now there is a PM back from the seller on 2/21. I don't know why it didn't show up when I last checked?? Here is where things stand now. "I use a registered airmail to send the package to you. The data might not update on the site but I can check it via a Thailand post manually. Initially, I did call them and knew that the package was bounded to USA since 15 already. Moreover, they will investigate our package where it is right now."

So it's been 2 days since I sent the seller another PM. Still no response from Rolexfinder on my Panerai rubber strap. The one he was producing that was supposedly better quality than the trusted dealers.

Well I sent the seller another PM. I provided the link to the tracking(thanks for the link JKay) and asked him to have a look and tell me what he thinks. What is really pissing me off here is I specificlly told him that I was trying to track the package through EMS. His response to that was CNY slows everything down. Ok well if I sold something and shipped it UPS and the buyer said they could not track the package on FedEx's website the first thing I would do is tell them I used UPS and not fed ex. On top of that this is "supposedly" the second time he is sending the item. You would think after the first mix up you would use the most reliable shipping method available to ensure you don't have to send out a third time. Well folks I guess I will see what his response to my latest PM is then I will decide if I want to post his name for all to see.

Wonder when it will arive in the US. I am guessing since it said loaded into container this is not coming air.

So Ken, do you think at this point if the tracking number I was given was real I would have seen something on it by now? The item I purchased was not alot of money >$50 but the same seller is trying to sell a good bit of watches right now and I just hate to see someone else get burned out of a few hundred dollars.

Ok so I ordered something that was coming through EMS. I originaly purchsed the item on Dec 31. The seller told me on the same day that they would ship the item once the post was open. On Jan 11th I sent the seller a PM to check and see if it had shipped out yet. Not recieving a response or the item I purchased I sent another polite PM on Jan 22nd. The seller responded to that PM and said they would check the status the next day and let me know. I did not hear anything from them the next day so on the 28th I sent yet another PM. THat same day they informed me that they re-shipped the item and provided me with a tracking number. On Feb 7th I tracked the package and it comes up on both EMS and UPS as no info on the shipment. I sent the seller a PM and asked them to double check the tracking number just to make sure they typed it correctly. Their response was due to CNY the site was not updated. So here I sit on Feb 17th and the provided tracking number still comes up as if the shipment does not exist. So Does CNY really shut down the EMS service for this long? I would imagine that there would atleast be the typical Package was accepted for shipping or something to that effect. THe real PITA is this is not really a sale of a singular item from one member to another, this is a sale where one forum member was selling multiples of the same thing on here kind of close to a vendor type sale.

Where can I get ahold of taka and do you think his AR is comparable to chief's?

I have my new 111 and am still in the honeymoon phase where it has been on my wrist for an unusually long period of time. The other day I decided to wear a different watch and so I tossed on my UPO with gen crystal. I love the AR on the UPO and was thinking about sending my 111 crystal out for an AR treatment. So would it be totaly wrong to get it double AR'ed from chief? I know it would not be correct but how would the gens single AR compare to double. I know it would be noticable but is the gen single good to the point that unless you were really comparing you wouldn't notice? Anyone know where a good crystal can be sourced for the 111, I think I would rather send one out and nit change the crystal till I got the AR'ed one in.

How sturdy is the sub insert? I am trying to decide between this buckle and the one with the sub cut out, I think the sub 2. I was worried of the possibility of the sub insert in this buckle getting knocked out somehow.

So if my screws work I should just use thoes. I am not sure if the strap I ordered will accept tubes but I am assuming the reason for tubes is to keep the strap from unscrewing the screw correct? If this is the case can't I just use a little blue loctite on the threads to keep the strap from unscrewing the bars?

I ordered another strap for my 111 and along with it I figured I would try out the springbars that are made to simulate the screws. I was thinking about it after the fact and I am just wondering, is there any chance that the spring bars could screw up the threading in the case making it so that I will not be able to use the screws anymore?

Yobokies has crossed my mind but the line on the Seiko is like a torch, I really don't want to loose that.
