Well if it was an apple device they would not be able to get those faces. That's the great thing about Android, it's open source. You get extra faces from the play store.

It looks as though the rep insert has white paint and the gen is more of a silverish color in some of the pics. Is it just the lighting or does both the gen and rep have white in the bezel insert??

Just in time for Halloween!! In all honesty I like the concept just not completely sold on that color combo.

Only one way to go. G-Shock, digital display that is easy to read at a glance and they hold up well in salt water which is something to seriously consider as going through selection you spend a lot of time in the surf and you don't get time to rinse it with clean water. Light at the push of a button, can display mil time and they are bomb proof. In all honesty though a watch is not needed during the initial BUDS phase as time becomes irrelevant once you step onto the grinder.

So are you saying there are 2 noob versions?

I see pure time has one that they are showing as the JF which appears to have the blue lume. Who makes the JF version??

Well sorry to have to play the Devils advocate here but I would imagine the cost of having a case made out of real rose gold would probably cost more than buying the gen.

A small safe hidden in a closet. Shoe box under the bed. False bottom in a dresser drawer. I could go on for days, it all depends on how complicated you want to get.

The 007 and the monster both have the crown at 4 o'clock. I have both the 007 and the monster and don't see any difference between where the crown hits my skin. The one thing I do know about the 007 is the bottom of the case curves up if that makes sense. \____/ kind of like that rather than the monster which is more or less straight up from bottom to top.

Starry I thought about getting that gen but was not 100% sure if it would fit. Astonjenks came through with a sweet deal on the case with crystal so I am all taken care of.

Just smashed the crap out of the crystal on my 5002 and now it has a beautiful starburst like when a rock hits a windshield. Anyone know where I can find a replacement???

I bought my UPO years ago when they first came out. At the time I think I paid around $200 or so for it as I opted for the cheapest movement option which I want to say was a 21j Asian. last night I opened it up and noticed the rotor says 25 Jewel on it. Upon further inspection I noticed the ETA clover looking stamp and what I think is 2824-2. I didn't have a magnifying glass handy to read it with certainty. I guess my question is did they ever put the ETA markings on the Asian clones or did I accidently get an ETA movement version. Any real way to tell?

Anyone know what movements the gen hands will fit? Will they fit on the 21j Asian movements?

Looking at the description of 44mm I take it these are bigger than the older SMP chronos correct? Would love one of thoes straps to put on my older chrono.

Looks great. Two questions did your gen dial come with the metal trim around the date window on it, and is there any real way to tell a gen dial from a rep dial? I have been looking for a fen dial and the ones I am seeing don't have the trim around the window.

I have a gen crystal in my 45.5 UPO. Anyone know if this crystal can be put into the new CrPO?

Yes just looked at PC again n and the G and A are connected in all but the main pic. I am still a little leary about the color. Hopefully someone will order and post up some decent photos of it as it appears Waugh flat without the shinny metal blue look of the gen.

what version of the gen is this? I have not seen a gen in 41.5, 38, or the XXL version that has a marker at 3 next to the date. in addition to the color the bezel font is too thin and not tall enough. The G and A in Omega are not connected with a horizontal bar either.

If I remember right Rolex also applies AR coating to the crystal under the Cyclops.
