Look through the bad ratings and you'll see a few that have to deal with movements. Tough call, great price. If you can go dateless you may have a winner. Pay with PayPal and you may have some recourse if things go wrong. Caveat emptor.
Thanks for the info - the few I have seen with similar dials online were supposed service replacements and I had not seen that particular dial from the factory - very nice. Most everything I have seen & recall was from rose to Snowflake. Recall was the operative word as I just went back and looked there were a few Shield 7016 with that dial - nice
Isn't that the wrong dial combo fr a 7016? Early 7016 having the rose dial then transition to the snowflake dial on all of the later 7016 until transition to the 9410? That dial looks like a service replacement or late 94100 (1980ish or later) . Same with the Lollipop sweep
I don't have the Josh but my gen 94110 Cyclope 125 is approximately 9mm from center to left edge of date window and 11.5-12mm to right edge. Crystal edge to edge is 30mm. I just took a quick look for the clark spares to side by side compare but it must be in the last 20 pockets I didn't check.
Nanuq - interesting stuff. Did some digging and it is liquid Aluminium Sulfate . Some more searches revealed a few interesting topics. Here is one example: http://www.finishing.com/547/30.shtml
Worth looking into further - thanks for stimulating some extra thought.
Sorry but as I am new here, is that site legit? I was looking through some other pieces there (trying to convince myself NOT to buy anything else) when I saw some of the images looked like from other sites. In several of the vintage subs, the description pages showed screenshots from perfect clones. Just curious, as I habe nto purchased from either. Thanks....

Ach, Mein Gott!
Akira, that's very German, doch?
While I am an ugly American, I did spend a few years in Germany and never once ran across a male Maria. Intentionally or not. But that this thread has been somewhat educational. I think.
DaRool. Druel DaRule Drool
Just trying to find the right thing to say. Man these vintage GMTs are killing me. A couple years ago I would not give them a second look now I have all kinds of drool. Looking forward to this build Ronin
