  1. the v3 bracelet is pretty amazing. I have one on my sean case and on my expII. first rep oyster I didnt need to lubricate or work on. it is super tight in the lugs, if there was a thing as negative gap, it has it.
  2. Fidhe, can you give some more info on the bracelet? Looks lovely
  3. Sean's bracelet is like the TC v2 bracelet I believe. The v3 is may more betterer You need a gen spec tube for the Sean case. There are very good aftermarket ones so you don't need gen. Did he fix the 16610 to read 16610T yet? Lastly, and this is hard to tell in assembled but is your cyclops crooked? Can't wait for pics! Thanks for sharing
  4. I got a flat 4 for some reason I find It a little more awesome.
  5. Serials went Y,F,D,Z,M,V (2002-2008) I have seen pics of a Y, with holes, that looks different than a Z. Fid has a point, you could just go for the M as it does have a M serial. Hopefully it has 16610T and not 16610 like mine.
  6. I meant the thickness top to bottom not side to side for the lugs. The slightly thicker case shape was really noticeable when I put the v3 bracelet on. Maybe my case is just made wrong and that's why it looks like it does. On a side note I like your builds Fidhle, really inspiring...
  7. Mine is marked M too, but it's also marked 16610 with no T, so it should have holes. A Y serial can be 2002-2004. The case shape, at least mine, has slightly thicker lugs, like a bunch of early Y serials I've seen. Anyway I'm happy with my build so far. And I am very impressed with all the other builds too! I also love the discussion that all the builds are creating. It really makes this the best forum in the verse!
  8. I bought my Sean case well over a year ago before the TC craze. At the time it was the best there was. The bezel is very nice. I haven't handled a TC so I can't comment on it. My gen parts are Y serial, and my opinion is the Sean case is based off a Y serial as well. I wa told he use to sell it with or without lug holes. At some point I may Lookinto getting holes drilled. But it has been a very long build and when she returns I just want to wear her for a bit.
  9. Great pics chief. Insert looks good, All I can see though is the low crown position My gen insert snapped into my Sean bezel, with a bit of effort, but it's there. The bezel insert was used so maybe it was made smaller by the installing and uninstalling over the years allowing it to fit the Sean bezel. Or maybe I just got lucky. My build is up north, I'll post pics when she returns from service.
  10. I wouldn't scream rep outloud but in my mind I would pick it apart like crazy Usually I see gens with replacement bracelets. Kills me everytime
  11. We have added coverage for my 1675, my wedding band, the wife's jewelry, and actually had one on my old mountain bike before I sold it. It ia not a lot of cash for the peace of mind.
  12. Anyone know if they are doing individual serial numbers like v1? And it's also odd the WR went from 100m for v1 to 30m for v2. The dealer I contact prior to the full listing was put up said it would be 100m. Maybe they are just being cautious. I was hoping to swim in this one and 30m isn't enough for me to feel comfortable.
  13. Must not buy 2... I don't need 2 new watches.... Yellow is enough... Why god why do you do this to us!!!!!
  14. The next 24-48 hours will be very exciting for wolf Lovers. Trust me;)
  15. Well I Was going to save for a gen ti version so maybe I'll get this one and delay my new phone purchase I'll have to find some gen rubber for it too!
  16. I know the review well. I too kick myself for missing the last run. Hopefully it's as good as the first.
  17. If it doesn't need any mods and its water proofed like the fish not a bad price. Anyone want to buy a slightly used liver? Never polished!
  18. are we thinking the typical 358usd for a swiss version?
  19. +1. guess I am going to have to wait to get the iphone 5! damn you!
  20. It might fit in some cases, but Sean's case tolerances are tight and I know that the 3135 fits perfectly. Let us know if you get one to fit.. 3135 Diameter = 28.5mm Casing diameter = 28.1mm Height = 6mm 3035 Diameter = 28.5mm Casing diameter = 28.1mm Height = 6.15mm
  21. +1 with correctime, id love more info on the bracelet. looks awesome!
  22. No retaining ring needed for a 3135. I used a stilty spacer so that I could use an eta 2892-a2.
  23. Gen crown will screw down on the Sean tube, but I went gen to insure water tightness.
