@klock, you don't they will make a "super duper 1:1 029M v2 made with with dissected original by swiss trained italian speaking watchmakers" version? I too like the zig/vac lume color better. I got lucky and my "9" is not as fat.

Great review! I like my etaswiss aka sean case very very much. I think the bevels on the lugs are better on the sean case too. obviously there is no comparison on the bezels. thanks for sharing!

the current 029m is damn good. the lume, as discussed in another recent thread, is not off as much as thought. it is not the best of colors, but I would not say its inaccurate. I got a swiss, but just because I get swiss if its an option. i would go over the QC pics very very closely. I had to go through 4 watches before I got one that was perfect. the dealer had no issue making me happy. I would go for V1. there will surely be a V2, always is. but whos to say it will be better than V1? good luck and post pics when you finally decide.

I totally agree with the lume color. This pic is from the launch of the 029m. I first believed that only the prototype had greenish lume, but I have seen many other pics which show the same greenish lume. Interesting about the GMT hand. That is something that I would have never caught. great post, thanks for sharing!

Might be right preacher, as I spoke to sean about 2 weeks ago, things always change. His comment then was the factory was going to make you buy the case and movement. I hope that has changed as the movement can be used for cases other than the 16610.
