bk's bezel takes a gen insert, but the retaining ring needs trimmed. seans case takes a gen insert, nothing needed trimmed. I though TC's case would take an insert like seans case. maybe the maker is rushing cases to market, and dimensions are off. seems like peoples lugs are off, not the bezel is off. im very interested in hearing what the verdict is...

this was on the Sean case, but the gen insert popped in after pressing pretty hard. i never thought it wouldnt fit, it seemed correct. does yours seem really big? or does it seem like it will go if you are stern with it

I would talk to TC about the case. I may be wrong but I think he posted measurement of the end links and yours are not as advertised. If it's not right I'm sure he will take care of it! Nice write up. Thanks for posting

I do not believe BKs dial will fit the TC case. it is too big. I know it does not fit the sean case, which is almost exact to the TC case.

He is around. Sean responds to 99% of my emails, usually within 24 hours. I dont think Sean has the yacht master kit in stock. I know he got the 16610 kit back in stock. You might want to search BKs recent posts, if I'm not mistaken he is or will be carrying the same case set. He did a write up on it.

i like all of it except for the leap year in the lower sub-dial.

Hey Ryan, thanks for your post, and trust me, no offense taken. While I am not as "vintage" as some members, I have been around here for more than a day or two I understand that TC is very popular right now. I also understand that because of this new found popularity that he is surely inundated with emails, pms and the like. He obviously knew that this would happen as he set up procedures to deal with communication, shipping etc. It is just too bad that his system seems to be failing so quickly. after all once the word really gets out he could be very very very popular. oh, and I am actually very very patient. after all I still have my deposit with BK for my WM9 sd4000! I am glad you are are continuing to have a good working relationship with TC. I hope that others are offered the same level of attention and respect that you are getting when they go a knocking on TC's door. Thread crap over. lets wait and see what TC does for his next trick...

I have tried to contact TC through a number of channels, over the last 2 weeks. He has not responded to any of the messages. He has a great product, but has failed in my eyes on the customer satisfaction part. He commented that he isn't doing this for profit I believe, so it's hard to be mad for his lack of communication since he's doing this as a service to us members. However, his behavior does not make me want to trust him with my hard earned money. In this regard, he is no better than the their known as George. I hope he proves us all wrong and makes good on his deals. Until there are a few more positive transactions I say stay away.

a gen sea dweller insert doesnt fit, or a sub insert doesnt? the seadweller insert is smaller I think...

My SSD had a real hev, and the person that I sold it to had it tested to 200m I believe. If the hev is located and sized correctly and is made of material which matches the color and texture of the gen, the fact that it's faux doesn't matter. Perfect example for me is The power reserve on the big pilot:it is faux and looks the part just fine. Question to the OP: is the bezel construction 1:1? I Still think we should boycott this one till it's better. Because we all know they can do better!

I've been saying since the v1 of this new sd. Do not buy it! Think of the precision it took to machine the rehaut as a separate piece. Then look at the total garbage bracelet and sel fit. Compound it with a fake hev, and finish it off with $hitty crown guards. It's a cheap knock off. Save your money!

Gen pic. I still think the guards are short. If it takes a gen crystal that's good. But the crappy bracelet is a huge problem. The sub bracelet has a Different sel than a sd. Automatic tell. There are too many flaws for this one. Maybe the next one will be better. Which way does the hev press? In or out of the case?

I just read this, and I think they teach wives to mess with it. Mine won't stop Either. We set it at 60 for me and 80 for her. Atleast it's dual zone auto!

No it does not exist from the factory that way. Also the case is thinner and is not machined to take a sel. The m series gave the 14060 cosc certification but no SELs I hope they kill it before they add sel or ceramic. Just my opinion

So in short: Bracelet is wrong and unfixable Crystal is wrong and unfixable Crown is wrong but fixable with new Bezel insert is wrong but fixable with new Pearl is unusable Case is wrong shape but can be fixed Crown guards shape is wrong but fixable Crown guards are too short and not fixable Dial and hands are ok Case back ok Datewheel ok but not as good as. Bk or TC overlay And let's remember this is a 1:1 rep. Thanks for the great review, but it's still say stay away from this cheap and poor attempt.

Don't buy the watch. It won't be right. IMHO Andrew is trustworthy, at least with me. But the way I see it, the dealers sell what's available. If they maker messes it up, I think they still sell it. That's why it is up to us to not buy it! Crappy reps are always available. Every dealer has them. This one just says 1:1 on it so it's "special". 1:1 POS if you ask me. I beg someone to post actual pics proving me wrong...
