  1. Yeah, same on my QC pics. But why is everyone waiting for the black dial? Because you don't like the white or because it's more accurate?
  2. The Hublot is one of the best OOB reps made today, which should be able to fool most people, basically anyone short of a HB collector or HB AD. The cartier is a nice watch and solid rep, but it probably can't match the same feel and quality of the Hublot. If you like both watches equally, go with the Hublot, otherwise the cartier is a solid choice as well.
  3. I just ordered the new white 42mm which came our couple of days ago. It has the correct blue lume and a much nicer case. Still not 1:1 but close enough for me to buy it.
  4. Ordered one two days ago. The color of the 24h hand looked fine, exited to receive it. I will review it when it arrives.
  5. Mine was shipped yesterday, waiting is the worst part .
  6. If you can't wait, buy the current PO Chrono rep, it's really accurate and a great watch. Plus it's easier to rep than the new one, so there are fewer tells.
  7. Why not? They have repped the Frank Mueller Roulette watch and the crazy hours. It will just be a custom chinese movement like the 21J on the FM. But maybe they won't do it, we'll see.
  8. Just ordered one. Will report back when it arrives.
  9. Nice watch, but I would get a custom strap from an independent strap maker, they're not much more expensive and awesome quality compared to the rep straps.
  10. Well it might take some time, as the gen has a glass back, but with the recent Omega branded movements in the Ladymatic there is hope even with a glass back the watch will look awesome. Might take a few month though.
  11. Nice try, I've just ordered it. Along with the Project X Rolex Explorer 2. Just to ease off some of the shipping fee . Will report back when both arrive and review them.
  12. Nice watch, I would maybe change the strap, a watch this expensive should be on a nice custom strap, that way the strap is not a tell and you can wear it proudly.
  13. Hey guys, I have finally decided that my first watch of 2012 should be a Hublot. I have done some research and chosen the Big Bang Black Magic 2 http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8682 It has the new circular bridges which I love, nice watch overall, plus it's a new model which is always a plus as these Big Bangs get better every time round. Two things I'm concerned about is, 1. the lume, it is not superlumed, unlike some Hublot reps 2. the stick markers, it's an evolution model, would you recommend this or lean towards regular numbers. All in all, how close to a gen Hublot is it? What are the tells? (exept from movement, strap and lume) And talking about the strap, should I choose the Rubber or the Croc option. I think the Croc looks bad in pics, bit it's hard to tell if it look fake and plastiky. I would love your advice, this is my first Hublot and I've never seen one in person, we don't have an AD in our area.
  14. really nice watch, i love the new circular modified bridges, it makes the clone movement look way closer to a gen.
  15. Oh I didn't notice I posted the ones with Happy Feet. I have the 42mm one which doesn't have happy feet, you can see my review somewhere in the Omega area.
  16. You can probably wear both, the 42mm one is more refinded and understated and the 45mm one is more noticeable and loud. It's a matter of choice. The movement depends on how long you intend to keep the watch, for longterm I would advise a swiss ETA even though you should be fine with an asian ETA. Just don't get a 21J one and you'll be happy. http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=1072 http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=1071 I would recommend these, they are available with leather or gummy strap as well should you want them.
  17. Thanks for the advice. I knew about the wrong material, but the wrong dial just was the last nail in the coffin. I know there are "Evolution" versions with stick markers, but this one does not seem to have one. All you get when you google it is pics of reps with the stick markers. All gens I've seen have numbers. But maybe a Hublot expert could clear this up and recommend the most accurate Hublot available at the moment.
  18. Thanks! This watch just died for me, I went on the Hublot site and saw that the watch has actual numbers on the dial, not stick markers like the rep. What Hublot rep is a 1:1, I thought the new ones were supposed to be really good.
  19. Hey guys, I'm looking for my first purchase of 2012 and have selected the Hublot Big Bang Ice Bang with the new circulated bridges. How accurate is this rep and which strap should I choose? Right now I'm leaning towards the Smooth Rubber Strap. http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8936:33962263d105f424d024038308e4260a What do you think?
  20. Nice watch, the sunken date wheel would drive me mad though.
  21. There have been reps before which used a Swiss Vajoux 7750, they have been around 800$. I don't think they were Hublots though.
  22. Well it's not 1:1, but still a nice watch. I've recently ordered one for my father and will post a review when it arrives.
  23. Yep, it's not worth 700$ with an Asian Vajoux and rg platet SS. Get the newest Hublot rep line, they're awesome and much cheaper (300-500$ depending on model)
