  1. If the watches are found the intruder is going to believe there is more to be stolen. Especially if there is no jewelry or personal papers. To beat a criminal you have to think like one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If you are buying a safe keep it hidden and bolted to the floor if possible. Having a safe visible can cause more problems with a desperate criminal. You never know how far they are willing to go. So my suggestion is to make sure it's hidden and of course to have insurance covering your valuables. It can't replace sentimental items but it can cover their value. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have a safe in my office located in the floor of the basement. It's a biometric safe and recognizes my left hand or my fiancée's hand. If the wrong hand is used, the logic board places a call to the alarm company. I store all valuables and important documents there. My daily watches are kept in the spare room on a shelf in the closet. I've also a Rottweiler and a Doberman protecting the house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. They are probably using a firewall that blocks sites that are considered illegal, pornographic, violent, etc. I know on my firewall at the office I have this site blocked. It's a default rule from the maker. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If I had to guess I would say no. I don't believe the factory tests for water resistance when building a watch. They might say they do, but that needs to be taken lightly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Congratulations are in order. I didn't mean to sound like a [censored] but I love vintage watches and I hate to see them bastardized. Hopefully your frankenwatch will give you the peace of mind you are searching for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Sorry but you have ruined the watch. I wouldn't have touched a thing on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. At the Hermes and even the LV boutiques it's hard to receive any help from the sales associates. I've had to walk out so many times after waiting 20 - 30 minutes for someone to help me. I prefer to purchase directly online when possible, unfortunately Hermes doesn't have much on their Web site for sale.

  16. You should have asked Joshua two weeks ago to send you a replacement. There is a small chance now you are out of luck for waiting so long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I also have never had a problem with PayPal. It's the only way I will do business online. My transactions on PayPal total over 50K yearly. One of the things I like about PayPal is the VIP hotline. When ever you call you will always receive a person on the line and not a automated attendant, they are also quick to side with you in any dispute. I believe the VIP is offered to anyone with over 5k in payments in a calendar year. I am more than willing to pay with PayPal than to give out my credit card information online. Even though most credit cards have anti-theft mechanisms in place it's still a pain in the [censored]. Especially when they have to close out your card and send you a new one. I had that happen the one time a seller wouldn't except PayPal, their network was hacked and they didn't encrypt payment data. Now if a seller doesn't accept PayPal I move on and find another.
  18. Evening switch to Voyage d'Hermes parfum. It smells much different than the EDT. I suggest anyone who likes the EDT to give the parfum a try. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. The dealer knows that he/she needs to start the trace. It seems like he/she is giving you the run-around. There is nothing that can be done on your end in regards to tracking the package. May I ask what dealer you are involved with? Tell them you expect them to send another package. Perhaps get the admins here involved. They might have a bit more leverage than you. 23. Wonderful job on the new layout and features.
  24. Definitely not a genuine TAG. Save your money on this one. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
