  1. Counterstrike source, are there any more pc games worth playing ??
  2. Hallojsen! Det hær ær en tråd jag helt missat också, kul med lite svenska hær på forumet.
  3. No, just wait until Silix takes the orders when he's ready.
  4. Whooot ??All of a sudden I'm in second place?? Also, I think you left out daddy_loves-Golf, he wants one too
  5. Jetsons, check my 1655 (link in my signature), the GMT hand there is a 1570 caliber Rolex rep hand from classicwatchparts.com. You need to trim the GMT hand a bit more flat with a file in height 0.5 mm or so (carefully), otherwise it will knock into the hour hand It's a bit tight squeeze, but it will fit I haven't yet tried it with a modern explorer, since I'd like to keep that stack correct EDIT: No other 1570 hands, like hour, min, sec will fit the 2893-2. I tried expanding the hour/min 1570 hands to fit the 2893-2 but they both broke (hand tube loosened), well that's life
  6. No, it's MAGNUM PI! (all the good avatars are taken)
  7. yes, most china and mbw reps use datejust tubes for all Rlxs including subs, explorers etc. if you want to keep remember it's not so waterproof as an aftermarket datejust tube which is cheap, easy swap and need no countersinking EDIT: saw you watertested the tube, I've tried that too but with lesser success (yes silicon greased), my rep was from trustywatchguy
  8. I've changed a 2836 to a 2893-2 on my vintage 1655, wonderful upgrade. (see my signature) Not hard to do, spacer ring need to be trimmed, possiby change GMT wheel and the 2893-2 you can get cheap at ebay. Cool thing, you can fit gen/good rep 1570 GMT hand on the 2893-2
  9. Starting fresh is good, a lot of members with knowledge here on the forum. By the way a beer is on me as well for you silix
  10. you only live twice mr. Bond
  11. Maybe someone ment you were a questionable character and not that you were unsure buying the watch EDIT: ok bad joke
  12. Well, the money you saved there can be spent on all the other bits for your MBWs that the devil inside tells you you absolutely need
  13. If you don't mind spending £80 I can also recommend Cousins in the UK which send the same day the silver 2846 in a special athmosphere foil pack
  14. Go for it!, I'm in for a case or two Just don't put "Polex" on them
  15. can't care that it's 17j asian, easy to replace w/ more accurate beat 2846 (69$) and will keep the cost down of the watch I hope just hope we get drilled-through lugholes
  16. Ok people we are cleared for takeoff! Silix: "Sorry for not speaking early. I was busy with rushing orders before the long holiday. I have just posted on the poll, and we will do the rerun. It will take sometime, but I will keep posted. We will start with asian 17 automatic, and several of them, which share the same case. Only the serial number between teh lugs causing some problem to the idea of sharing case. Will try to make correct serial numbers for each type of them. Nice day."
  17. thanks for bringing this thread back, completely missed it. The watch is amazing, what can I say
  18. it's not me getting the watches, Silix is the dealer. There's a chinese new year holliday going on and after that Silix is checking with the watchmaker if the ROL187 can be back in production. Hopefully with new specs like ETA, lugholes ... I'd be amazed if it won't be back since there's about 50-60 watch orders here, at the least.
  19. yes never underestimate the power of "best offer" I've made some scandalous ones and got away with it
  20. I'd want one of course. Hope Silix or someone else decides this one's a good one to manufacture too
  21. Great idea case building It's basically the only thing that one need building a franken watch and which is impossible to get at a decent price genuine. Hope it works out, if it does I'm a customer
  22. I think I would like more details on the gilt and the cohiba please I like more this thing here...
  23. Completely agreed Tribal! Gen dials will not fit this case, lugholes to close to case (can't fit gen bracelets without modifying them), bezel loosens to easy... but still it's a cheap little thing I've just turned my 1680 red into a 5513 Gilt with leftover spare parts, it's been a test case a long time for me with lughole drilling, dial painting etc.. fun watch to practice on
