  1. Yes, an obvious franken but someone is defintely going to spend to much money on that one Is it a modified MBW Milgauss case anyone?
  2. Oh no alligoat, you shouldn't have said that... Now my dark side has convinced me to buy 1570's :akuma: How will this end??? No holliday money for me this year
  3. My Panerai 111H with a HKTan custom vintage strap (pics coming) but also these are nice to keep:
  4. Holy cow that's one Bling Bling Rolex So cool it almost hurt my eyes!
  5. wish I had a spare ring , try pm tourbillon1801 here on RWG or try contacting geo.tel (ebay seller in germany)
  6. that's what I said "But service will be expensive unless you can service it yourself" Personally I don't feel comfortable servicing a 30 year old gen Rolex movement worth a thousand bucks, otherwise I'd be ebay bidding like crazy
  7. Didn't need to make a spacer between dial-movement because this strange rep had no groove/slot cut out for the dial, dial's just lying there stabilised by the spacer ring which fitted almost (needed to trim it to fit movement holder screws because the 2893-2 is thinner than 2836) I know your problem but I solved it in another way with another project. If you know the silver ring that goes between the movement and dial, just make abot 20 notches (no cuts) upwards in it so that it will be raising the dial. very easy if you know what I mean,if not I'll try to find a picture
  8. That would be great if they would start up the 6542 production as well
  9. I'd be in for another of these hard to get vintage vintage rlxs reps
  10. Wow that's a great compilation didn't know that many were interested. Silix better answer before the thread gets cold
  11. Case serial won't match the movement serial, especially if the case says "Polex" Possibly remove the movement from the case and let an independent watchsmith service it (if they'll take it) But service will be expensive unless you can service it yourself or The Zigmeister is your next-door neighbour
  12. Nice one Insert's real nice, gen as well? MBW rep case and dial?
  13. Milgauss advertised as a Bond w/ Rep case, dial, bracelet, manual and an old datejust crown fitted Gen movement is cool but 2600$ and rising?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...mMakeTrack=true
  14. trustywatchguy or wo-mart?

  21. Sorry, then I'm out of this group-buy. Would only consider changing MBW dealer if I made a huge saving.
