Im not too worried about the dial not being 100% the same as the noob dial, but good enough. Unless the etching gets to me, I'll grab a Clarks crystal. Happy Happy Joy Joy

Well, I found the sapphire crystal, but it's only 3mm thick. Any chance that there's a 2mm thick gasket?

From the other threads, it sounded like Ofrie was a good choice, but others feel different about Ofrei. So now its between Clark and JewelryOutlet. As long as I get a gen gasket, does it matter between Clark or JewelryOutlet?

Just ordered PT's Ultimate Sub without the engraving. Looks to be the same case as the WM9 M Series Case. We all know about the horrible etch crystal. So Im looking to replace the crystal, but not gonna spend $200+ on the gen crystal. I know that there are some threads about this, but figure we settle it right here - which aftermarket to get: 1 - Clarks? 2 - Ofrie? 3 - JewelryOutlet Now, whichever aftermarket crystal is the best - what's the next step? A gen gasket?

However, last week, he did inform me that he did receive some Subs withOUT the engravings, so I asked if I could switch. He said no problem and now I wait for my new baby to arrive. Can't wait !!!!

I know last week was a Chinese holiday (not sure which one) so maybe they shipped thousands of packages all at once at right now USPS is just a little backed up scanning each of the package? I know another member on RG said he is experiencing the same thing that I am, so hopefully this is the reason.

Yeah, I ordered 2 inserts from another dealer and guess, neither of the inserts had the pearl. I was told that the pearl is now attached to the bezel and not the insert. From this, the pearl will always be centered and not off centered as the case with some watches.

I have the asian model SFSO and would like to replace it with a sapphire crystal and get it double A/R by Cheif. I could try to have Chief double A/R my mineral crystal....but might not get the same results as I would if I had the sapphire crystal.

Ok - I have mastered removing the caseback from my SFSO (rubber gloves did the trick ) Now, how do I remove the crystal? Do I need to remove the bezel ? Unlike my Omegas, I can simply push the crystal through. Seems that the tabs at 3, 6 ,9 and 12 are somewhat preventing me from popping the crystal out. Am I doing something wrong?

Guys I would, but the only way I could convince my wife to allow me to get it (yes, she hates our hobby with a passion due to all of the $$$$ I spend), I told her it could be my X-Mas gift this year from her. BTW - Does anyone know if a 24mm non mesh S/S bracelet will fit the SOH? I wuld love to get the Ocean Racer strap, but just picked up the gen rubber strap for my Skyland v2. Cant have 2 watches with rubber straps, now can I?

L - any issues with the strap or the clasp? I heard the early ones had a flimsy clasp.

I have the updated version (Asian ETA model) with the correct dial and date font. Beleive it or not, I had to part with one watch - the SOH or my modded UPO and chose to part with my modded UPO. I really like the look and feel of the SOH. I may opt for the rep ocean racer (hopefully they got it right the second time). Very accurate and nicely price. Cant go wrong.
