What are you trying to do? From what I heard, the dial on the WM9 is better than the noob's. I guess you can swap the bracelets - you can do that. As for major work, theres some US Based modders like Vac, Rex & Jackjo, but there on RG. Good luck.

Even though I was able to get an Electric Blue Closed Factory, I really really like the 2254 version better. Would ya beleive I parted ways with not 1, but 2 closed factory watches ? They were reps ahead of their times..... The consisted of several seamasters - Bond, Bond 40th Anniversary, 2254 & Electric blue models. There were different versions, such as "true" 2892 ETA movements" and then versions with the correct HE valve, better pearls & CGs, great dial details, etc. Sadly, the factory was shut-down/closed - dont know the exact reason, but pretty much for obvious reasons. Theres talk about "updated" Seamasters coming out, but who really knows? As long as I have been in this hobby, we are promised the so-called Ultimate or true 1:1 reps only to be somewhat disappointed with the results. However, I will concur that the Breitling models that just came out are really kick-ass super - reps. If they can use the same initiatives with Omeags, they will make many many many, and many more, members very very happy

Pug - I have that tool, but (unless Im doing something wrong) the caseback is too big for this tool. Ill try the kitchen rubber gloves. All in all, I just want to pop the crystal out to get the correct measurements.

What's the best way to open the caseback of the SFSO? What's the best tool? Thanks

I have the new Ultimte Version with the correct dial and date font. However, it has the Asian ETA movement. But so far, no issues. Accurate with the time. Overall, nice piece.

I dont know how they got it right before with the close factory SMPs and now, WTF. They came out with Super-Rep Breitlings, but nothing for Omegas? I mean, how hard is it to create a 1:1 Omega SMP? It took 4-5 versions for the 42 PO, 3 to finally get the UPO and they both had flaws. Unacceptable IMHO. With the dawn of the super-reps, this is a HUGE step backwards when it comes to the new Omegas. Does anyone really wanna know how I really feel?

From what Angus told me, the pearl is attached on the bezel for the Chrono versions so the pearl would be dead on center at all times instead of coming out crooked on some inserts, such as yours. Looks great.

How about getting 3-4 used gens? If ya like Omegas, could easily grab an Omega SMP (2531), SMP Pro (2254) and a 42 PO. Mix and match with the Breitling Colt, Tag Link, etc. Give me the $5k and Ill grab ya some watches
