Ok guys. I just drawed the crown with the measurements from FISH. I did it on CoCreate ME10 / OSD.
Everyone, please have a look and tell me if something is wrong..
I left out the thingie for the stem though, since I don't know how that looks. Does someone have the measurements for it?
I guess the picture in the signature fits the user quite well..
A question though: when you have 10.000 tons of fish in the net .. what's the next step? I mean, do you pull it out of the water with a crane and put it in the boat or do you just tow the net to the port? I can hardly imagine that it is possible to pull 10k tons into the boat..
I don't get it? So what? I never said, that it is supposed to be as close as on the picture posted by me. It was just aimed to the people who think that Panerai might use Prototypes for these kind of pictures.. and obviously they do. Which also might be the reason why the dial on the reps is wrong. Or maybe the AD took the picture for the panerai ad himself using a rep...
well, the spitfire is kind of accurate.. the classic mark xv is far from accurate.. the spitfire however looks more dressy than the xvi imho.. at least for me thats a minus..
if you want a dial without a brand on it: stowa sells the flieger without the branding, blue hands and onion crown.. it's around 40 mm..
this one is sold out but there is a waiting list for the regular non limited version with the same looks but different movement..
stowa watches have a good reputation and they produced german flieger watches back in ww2..
