But he is selling B&R...
-
I have read a couple of times that members were trying to find lugscrews for their BR watches. Well who would have thought, you can order them on the BR page! Strangely I can't see the onlineshop when accessing the page in german language. If you access the US page you get the Eboutique but you can only order the lugscrews for the B01 in SS. But if you access the french page you can order straps, screws, buckles and whatnot for all the models in PVD, TI and SS from them. http://www.bellross.com/fr/ Click on Eboutique. Click on Les Accessoires. Scroll all the way down. Although the price is kind of a bummer. They want 46 Euros for a set of 4 screws and 2 lugs. Probably worth it to the guys with the superlumed, Avitt DLC coated ones. Hope that helps some people out. If this was already known, sorry for opening a new thread.

Well as I said he sells the watch without the boxset for 30 USD less. As for the movement: Im sure no one has replicated that ETA movement, so I guess they have gotten their hands on some ETAs. B&R dont change anything on their ETA movements so it has to have the same functions. This might also play a part in the high price. If they only have like 50 of those movements they will set the price for the watch higher. I would really like some better quality pictures though. Since he has refused to send me any, can maybe one of the members who has good relations to joshua ask for some pictures? I never bought from him.

FYI: Joshua says: standard pullout crown, lumed dial and 30 USD off if one does not want the boxset.

I really like how people in this thread are complaining about the font on the digital display being off and that the watch is wayyyyyyyyy to expensive because it is quartz and gshocks have anadigi displays for 15 bucks. Great thinking! The Movement in this rep seems to be the real ETA that is used in several Breitlings and the gen B&R. They should probably be priced in the 200-300 USD range too, huh? Now if the rest is replicated well, how is this any worse than 800 and 500 USD Hublot reps with Asian 7750s? They probably cost less to make than what the ETA ana-digi movement is worth. If the box was complete with tools and straps and not just papertrash just like the papers and whatever else they include I wouldnt even mind. I would have liked the option to get the watch without that stuff for maybe 100 usd less. However on Joshs site it says screw down crown (which would be completely stupid and wrong) and theres no word on wether the dial is lumed or not. If it really was a "Perfect 1 : 1 Copy . 100% Replica in Looks and Functions." I'd get it.

No, I don't have a GENUINE Ti Panerai but I do have a university degree in mechanical engineering. I better don't argue with you, you seem to be the pro.
-
Even better. That means the Reps are even more accurate than we thought.
-
WOW, thanks mate! I ordered two right away. Can't wait to get them!

Actually that is nonsense. Titanium is harder than steel and does not get as quickly damaged as steel. And while being harder its significantly lighter. Also its 10 times more expensive. So if the cases are prone to damage then that is because the rep makers use shitty Ti and/or shitty machines to make them and/or assemble the watches without taking care. Since titanium is so hard, it's also brittle. If the threads arent cut very clean, they can simply break off when screwing too hard or crossthreaded. Obviously the Gens dont suffer from losing the threads after the second strapchange and I'm pretty sure OP doesnt using *magic* to make them..

Noooooooooooo. Well thanks for the info.

Does anyone know if Precious Time can source these? Or any other sugestions as how to get one from within EU?
-
Haha nice.. Guys I'm pretty sure it was about the thickness of the strap tapering down. Not the width.
-
I have two gen Pro Diver straps. Both Black, one is the older model, one the newer one with the raised logo on the buckle. Both taper from the lug end to the tip. It seems as if the newer one tapers a bit more than the old one. If the strap and not the buckle is your problem, just try to get the gen strap. They were sold for around 80 Euros at the AD but since the new version without the lettering came out they can't be ordered anymore directly from B. So if you are lucky the AD has some on stock, otherwise check the Bay.

Well.. I would prefer the avenger seawolf chrono as gen and as rep.. I wish the rep markers would rep that one.. ;( They could use the gen ETA movement or even the version that counts up to 30 mins instead of 12 hours. They use that on the TAG F1 reps..

If there is a factory want to replicate of early Pam Base

Wow. Any base dial + closed caseback + accurate and I am in. I don't think that we will be able to source the gen parts though.. -
wow, a bromance. hallo und willkommen..

ubermodded ti fantasy german.

Hey guys. I was wondering if the new rubber strap will fit a 42mm Ingenieur. I have seen a fantasy 44mm chrono rep with the rubber strap already.. Does anyone know?
-
it would be nice if they could put a little more effort in getting the slots in the screwheads centered and straight.. as long as they are crooked and all there is no point in discussing if one should use whitegold or polished stainless steel.. also the bezel is not installed correct but thats not a big problem unless the screws strip. the brush should be straight from top to bottom.

Or here: http://www.uhrenarmband-versand.de/shop-Uhrenbandversand.html Put chronissimo in the search field. Currently they only have the 18, 20, 24mm ones in stock but i guess they will get the 22mm soon..

Yeah I can confirm. As long as you wear the watch it is no problem. Don't bring any boxsets or similar.. German customs allows to bring one rep with you for personal use.. IF (extremely unlikely if the watch is on the wrist) they start arguing just say that its a cheap rep for personal use and its ok.. they wont take it away or make you pay any customs fee..
