  1. WM link; http://www.worldofwa.....atches.com/ look around.
  2. Higs " I've never understood how PayPal protects us buying reps - don't they just walk away once one or other party tells them what the payment was for?" Over one sale then PP closes their account, I doubt it.
  3. sebvad not about dealer persay somebody might have reported them to PP over a trifle. That being said I only use dealers with PP ,but that is just me. Trusty Time has most everything a little more sometimes but you get piece of mind , Supermirrors also PP limited in selection but great prices in my experience.
  4. Bingo! " I think what i'm hearing is that it's a bit of a crap shoot with either 'level' of watch i go with; there are some retailers who are better than others; and that members here have had both good and bad experiences with either 'level' they go with." sebvad you are going to do just fine in the hobby most new folks can not even find the dealer section, you are hitting the ground running.
  5. WM "And although you can disagree with a Fed Chief's philosophies or methods I still feel strongly that its being a reasonably autonomous organization (and not at the whim of politicians whose only concern is re-election) has been of paramount importance to the U.S. and global economy." I agree for the most part , but would have liked it if Ron Paul's audit in depth had happened. And this is key (and not at the whim of politicians whose only concern is re-election), those guys are a bunch of *&*&*&, for sure. (insert derogatory adjective of choice)
  6. Jason like the clean look of the Porto like the others, but that Zenith.................. hot. Wish I had your dilemma.
  7. Just saw some Pams on world of watches, never before. Breitlings sure Rolex never but Pams, better pour a double.
  8. Sebvad welcome, the guys are steering you right on movements. I am looking forward to a watch deal with some of your chocolate!
  9. Hi guys need some fed back you can PM if you would rather discuss in pivate. If you are interested fine if not just let me know. Certainly not a black mark I am not going to scorn anyone cause they can not make it , but do need to make arrangements. Date is soft as I have no idea when most can come. PS Path is not running at this time should be up in time for us if not we will work around it .
  10. Ok guys Sunday the second 2PM OK . Now here is my reasoning daylight to get there , leave day light to dusk (less police looking at you , how drunk will we be ?), place empty no home games , less security issues , minimal traffic on Sunday , everybody home snug as a bug early. Safely !
  11. Red thanks did not want to take the whole horse & pony show over as most on this side. I will pick you & WM (if can come) up we can nail down later, Sunday afternoon OK..
  12. Military industrial complex, re-distribution or lack there of, two sides of the same coin my friends. Our government has become a self perpetuating machine unto itself bought by different interest groups each with their own agenda. We are cannon fodder as we are pitted against each other.
  13. Red thought you were midtown westside, my old haunts?
  14. Guys just to put it out there I am leaning towards Hoboken location as it is 20min at most drive from NYC proper and right across from path. I know at least for myself & Pep it is well over an hour just to get to Hoboken the extra time and expense to get to the city really makes it tough trip especially on the homeward leg.
  15. shark yum sounds good! Lots of butter to h*ll with cholesterol.
  16. Thanks chief! Sgt you have been doing enough lately you did more "decorating"in the last month than I have done in a life time. Put your foot down time for more watch stuff! LOL Yea tried that also next thing I new I was cutting some hedges.
  17. iC, I was thinking about the fix from the beginning and figured about the same as you (not the end of the world). But no sense taking it new that way.
  18. By-tor you should see the exchanges on places where this is the topic, we are civil and genteel in comparison. That being said best we stick to our bread and butter, watches.
  19. KB not personal just a good lively debate. We obviously have two diametrically opposed view points on the quality and composition of the present electorate. Just serve and foley so to speak, I have debated good friends vehemently and then gone out for a beer. I hold no ill will just like the challenge. You know like building a franken rather than buying gen it's all in the doing. Maybe best I go on to another build I am knee deep on another forum in debate. In fairness it is about such topics so I will leave it be here fair enough.
  20. The closer up you are the harder it is to see, did they resend these? Look at last pic judge by equal distance and lugs sorry just looks off.
  21. kbh red vs blue OK. Remember in my prior post I said don't call the troops, you like stats well here is one. Looks like the blue states are not well represented among America's bravest, maybe busy at the frat house party. They pay for there political rights with blood, service and sacrifice you propose education as the metric for an informed electorate. Your so called educated blues rights and freedoms are being guarded by the very people you degrade, all the more does it show their strength of character. I prefer my metric, you can have the college boys I'll take the vets, there invested in the country not themselves. The red states keep this nation safe. “New Jersey comes in 50th of the 50 states; just 1 percent of current residents have served in the military since Vietnam.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/12/14/AR2008121401815.html In 1969, the 10 states with the highest percentage of veterans were, in order: Wyoming, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, California, Oregon, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio, Connecticut and Illinois. In 2007, the 10 states with the highest percentage of post-Vietnam-era veterans were, in order: Alaska, Virginia, Hawaii, Washington, Wyoming, Maine, South Carolina, Montana, Maryland and Georgia. Over the past four decades, which states have disappeared from the top 10? California, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Illinois, all big blue states that have voted Democratic in the past five presidential elections. These states and another blue state, New York, which ranked 12th in 1969, are among the 10 states with the lowest number of post-Vietnam vets per capita. New Jersey comes in 50th of the 50 states; just 1 percent of current residents have served in the military since Vietnam. This is not simply an issue of people retiring to warm states such as Florida, Georgia and Texas. A 2005 Heritage Foundation analysis of Defense Department and census data on enlistments found that Montana, Alaska, Florida, Wyoming, Maine and Texas send the most young people per capita to the military. The states with the lowest contribution rates? Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.
  22. Burg figured you were all in waiting on the rest of the NY group (tony y good I believe) & ninja.
