TeeJay thx again tracked down a few green bezels on e-bay some glue other snap in unsure of whch way to go maybe buy both and jerk around with snap first then if no go try glue one.
OK Rolex guys snap in or glue in green bezel? saw both on e-bay 10-15 bucks will they fit my rep ? Is there a source for a better bezel want decent lume pearl?
Bought a Sub from Suppermirrors link:
Wondering how to improve? Lume, AR coating? Bezel ? Movement ok with me not looking to go crazy just make visually more gen like.
atomic " The Domino's Rolex is a corporate award that was given to successful franchise managers" Figured that.
iRolex "if one was given to me...dial change immediately" In a second, ugly with the Logo.
This should make the Rolex guys barf. Bad pizza and a really bad thing to do to a watch.

According to the piece it is gen.
I have the SOH no chrono also, blue. No problem with the 46mm and usually prefer the uncluttered look of the non chrono dial. In this case as it is duel not a tri I like it very much. Just to similar to my present one to make a buy and 44mm is about the smallest I can wear.
sneed, I have meet zero people who would know if a watch was gen or rep. Of course there are some really crappy reps but the little details discussed here and mods done is beyond the public at large. In most cases if they see an expensive watch ( that they recognize "Rolex") they assume it is a rep unless you are a known high net worth person. I have a rep SOH which is a beautiful watch but most do not even know what a Breitling watch is, cost etc.
It is just a real nice watch to them. Never the less nice catch you must have been dying to confront him.
RRknight I hope it is gen, I am not even close to telling the dif. and as others more learned have said it is a tough call (easy mod i gather) Enjoy it that is all that counts wear it for many years in good health.
The AT in blk at Silix 64 bucks http://www.silix-prime.co/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=116_231&products_id=4538
May just pick one up for my son (22), he loves the new Bond movies. At 64 bucks close enough is OK, and when he breaks it I will not care.
He could wreck a Gen.
Smartin go to links top of home page, then dealers websites, check them out there are like 5or6 some may carry what you want others not, compare prices, some take PP others not. Due diligence is required if your into watches it is fun.
Your UK right, yes cultural differences will be there. I am conus I would think we are the worst to deal with from a dealer stand point.
Americans want it now, with a smile and just what we ordered. In our defense that is how we are treated here as customers so we expect it. The rep world is different I am still adjusting my expectations.
Valinfrance just go to top of the page here in the future "links" then find dealer web sites go on each till you find one that you are comfortable with. They are not perfect but they are not crooks, they do there best to give you what you order as represented in my experience. Patience is needed and some cultural differences might get you aggravated but they will not scam you. As far as getting your money back well I think you know the answer (can't hurt to try), maybe ask them what they do have. You never know something is better than nothing.
