  1. Woof thanks now I do not feel so bad. Maybe I will go for a better grade Rolex someday, bought this for 79 figured what the h *ll. They play so small on my wrist (8.65in) so for me the money would be better spent on larger high end gen. I am aware of the 43mm Dweller but maybe a tad to small, wish I could try one on you never know. Well there is one for $148 w/2813 on trusty maybe I take a chance.
  2. Ah! I see the vid was of a gen, just googled how to take bezel off Rolex. Next time check here first as there are obviously different methods involved. You live you learn.
  3. Saw a few also same price but all black. Was hoping to get a after market one as per Rolex ones very reasonable. But thanks for the info.
  4. Have SOH blk bezel blue face would like to go blue on bezel also. Anyone know where to buy.
  5. Teejay yes its sits well, as far as damage internal so still looks good have it lined up on the 12. It is on a Bond blk/red/grey nato really comfortable , still debating in my head . I may get the bug to do in a day or two.
  6. Yes woof I did, it should have worked followed Video to the tee. Going to leave well enough alone I think if I pull the blk & green does't go in well watch useless. Thanks again gentlemen .
  7. Cheap LV sub from snead 16610, came blk figured I go 50th with green. Teejay seems I f**** ed up inside someware as now it doesn't want to rotate click you know. I was able to line back up pearl with a real lot of force. Oh well will give the Teejay method a try. Thanks guys .
  8. Ok so changing blk to green on LV dial sub , can not get it off. Watched vidio have all the right tools it will not pop up, mind you I put some serious presure on it I am a large guy. Any hints!
  9. Sounds like a nice perc GMT for a job well done. sneed12, it seems like me most are not enamored of the logo dial, different strokes for different folks.
  10. Valin , great you got it back. Now report lost, get a new number.
  11. andreww "Saw a post on RG earlier this week and apparently Mary can still get these." and Mary is which dealer?
  12. Rasta been debating one of those. Let use know how you like it. As far as the movement no clue, sorry.
  13. sneed12 "Well read noob" I would say that is a fair assessment. I have just bought 3 reps one not wearing yet as I have to mess with adding links from bracelet that Andrew sent me (just for dress anyway) Rolex waiting for extra links & a new SOH worn 4 times. I wear gen watches not expensive ones just have many of them so "watch guy" but not for reps. I have a Pam California but it sterile just liked it, bought it before I knew what a Pam was! (guy makes them USA). A 47mm bu-hr-flieger from Helenarou, same sterile just liked it. I have many others like Ingersoll, Andriods ,Invicta ,Swiss Legend, Croton, the list goes on a few have never gotten out of the box to the wrist. Also bunch of cheap ones ebay Chinese, I give them away to friends & there kids. I bought one that I "NOW" know is a dead ringer for a Breitling Bentley, 50 bucks shipped (Ailibao brand on it) , bet they make the reps also. Get compliments on it often, go figure. You NYC by the way. (have a friend with 3 gen Rolex we are going to compare my new sub at next GTG for fun) PS I look at peoples wrist all the time most do not wear watches grown men mind you. Young people forget it they have a cell phone for the time, sad
  14. sneed "How would you know? " Good question. I wear a different watch most every day and am know as a watch lover, whether it be work, local shop I go to, dinner counter for breakfast or local college where I take some classes or the Pub. I engage people in all these settings no one has even shown the slightest knowledge of watches rep, gen or otherwise. I do not use mass transit so that is out, I live in the rural portion of my state and mostly have to look out for deer on the road , cows, horses & corn fields are the scenery . Could be a guy like you out there who noticed but I doubt it. By the way you were going downtown on a train, NYC or another major city no doubt. If I did that it would be a hell of a lot more likely. You said yourself first time you spotted one in how long working in a high density area?
  15. blackdice ditto what X said , I have the blue and it is a great rep. What are you going to change?
  16. Datlore I have an SOH non chrono very happy , beautiful watch.
  17. Jkay by the way nice. Thank heaven for little girls.....................
  18. Jkay I received a bottle of Scotch from my 22yr old son, soon to be empty!
  19. Well the day came ,the lord works in mysterious ways. Omega needs a strap with deployment for a nav. I have Breit. strap can not use due to unnaturally large wrists! Off it will go for shipping. Sgtguk was nice enough to send me a mesh (useing) ,nato & the leather with my SOH I bought from him . Pay it forward gentlemen.
  20. Put out a call for links today no less than four members offered to send just cover the shipping . I am new here but I think it speaks volumes about the community here . Also needed some advise on a mod did not have to wait long someone knowledgeable steered me in the right direction. Thanks to all!
