I am interested in buying a new Big Bang, but I am worried it may be too big for my wrist. I am OK with the 44mm Pams and was looking for help in a size on the wrist comparison.
Can any of the Big Bang owners give me an overview?
Thanks.
The Zigmeister could not install the datewheel on my 2893 Pam 29. He said that they will only work with 2836 based movements. I hope everyone else has better luck.

I have had rep watches plated in white gold, yellow gold and platinum. It makes a noticable difference in the rep. All of the work was done by Artisan plating (Michigan, USA). They do outstanding work, but it seems to take a long time.

The Pam model number is actually a 168 F series. It is a fantastic rep, one of my favorites. I had it serviced and lumed by The Zigmeister. It has tested water resistant to 5 atm. The real ones are titanium rather that brushed steel, but since it was a limited series of 399, no one will notice.

The watches look nice, but look nothing like a real vintage rolex. Also, they have display backs, something you would not find on a vintatge watch.
Here is a picture of what they should look like. You can find them, but they are very expensive. $3-4K custom built.

The project concept would work, but your listed case won't. The pusher alignment is off for the Val. 72. You can find correct cases around, but they are expensive ($800-1200).
Good luck.
If you can afford it, I would buy one of the real tourbillons that you can get from River (and others). These movements are of the same quality of a Breguet.

A couple of years ago... Everyone seemed to enjoy these kinds of games. I guess I am just getting old.
@u - Very close, but think bigger. 35mm seems too small for modern day wearing.

I have had great luck with these types of movements. On your watch in particular, you might want to rethink that Patek. The watch is a pretty obvious rep. The real Patek is a chronograph, not a day date movement. There is no authentic watch of any brand that has big pushers for a day-date movement. If you want a good (acurate) complication, take a look at the VC's.
