  1. Tourby, I have a 921 that I bought for your case. What did you have to modify to get it to fit? Regards.
  2. Any word on the second half of the group? Regards.
  3. IWC currently sells a repeater model very similar to this one, but the real one is 43mm (not 40mm). I have had the opportunity to try on the real one and it beautiful in it's simplicity. The bigest problem is that anyone who knows that it is a repeater will ask to hear the chimes. Regards.
  4. I have one and it is great quality for the money. The case is the same as $4K RGM watches. Regards.
  5. You are making a good choice on buying an original of this watch. I bought the rep and then had an authentic dial (from ebay) put on it. They fit perfectly (so even the dial is not a giveaway). The caseback is also easily brushed with steel wool (or sandpaper). The only true way to tell is winding the crown. There is a huge difference in the feel of the movements. I ended up buying the rattrapante version of the watch. Regards.
  6. I would also be in, but would prefer with the AR coating. Regards.
  7. Very nice. What is the strap you have with it? Regards.
  8. It depends on the type of watch. If it is a Rolex or Cartier, then it is possible to get any dial combination and you should be happy. If it is any other brand... don't expect too much. Regards.
  9. A true 42mm Pam watch uses a 23mm wide strap and a 20mm buckle. If you have a correct style buckle (not the standard 22mm), I would highly recommend that you buy a real radiomir strap. The 42mm radiomir straps are thinner than standard 44mm Pam straps(24mm). If you use a 24mm it looks off on the watch and is a big giveaway for any knowledgeable PAM person. Regards.
  10. These later generation tourbillon watches are very reliable. The are much more reliable than the earlier generations (I know from painful experience). But I agree with some of the others, the tourbillon stands on it's own right. Don't buy a rep that everyone will know is a fake, buy the same watch as a noname and you will have an incredible watch for under $1000. Regards.
  11. The watch is a very good copy. The movement is a standard 72C with replacement(rolex mark) bridge. Regards.
  12. Very nice combination with the strap. The authentic strap and buckle were definitely worth the money. Enjoy. Regards.
  13. Watchboys brown with white stitching is the way to go (perfect to the OEM). Regards.
  14. You can always find them on Ebay. You just need to kill an old beater watch for the movement. They usually run $400-$600. Regards.
  15. @ravishingrick - Don't worry. This watch will be restored Regards.
  16. @Tourby -- Is this what you are looking for? Nothing is impossible, if you look hard enough... Regards.
  17. Here is mine. Sorry about the poor picture quality. They are really more an aged light silver than white. Regards.
  18. I have having a custom dial made for it so we are 2-3 months away from pictures. I will post them when finished. Regards.
  19. Had mine serviced and it has been perfect. Smooth as silk. Regards.
  20. If you have a display window, I think it is worth it. The older movements have a depth and richness that far surpass the modern movements. I now use unmarked customize dials without Pam markings. Here is an example of a Hamilton 921 pocket watch movement that I am putting in a Tourby case. Regards.
