I can't see very clearly, as they are different in real life. But this seems to capture the "shiny" or vibrant quality that my gen has. But the difference is the gold thing stuck behind the "pin" of the swan neck regulator is different. (Notice mine is little more slanted and looks a tad bit different) I don't know if you can see my pic clearly, but here goes. But really convincing, its actually quite scary.

Lol, +1 and I think it wouldnt be a good rep. The gen seems to have some vibrant quality and detail that the rep could not bring out. I think its simply too much for the rep makers.

LOL, thats like the new thread! I guess he was trying to put it out there before it was released. Why dont you get it and do a review But I think a faux power reserve is just a turn off though

Agreed, but with that said, the confidence level when entering a boutique for instance, is different when wearing a gen and rep. Even if the gen could slightly differ due to the batches, you'd still know you're using your gen But I still love my reps

Emm, I was wondering why don't you buy a Pane with see-through case back instead? I think having a see through for this model, even if it exists one takes away the feel of the whole watch.

I am purchasing from him, and so far so good. You can't expect the TD to reply your mails within the hour, or even the same day at times. So you must be patient with the communication. But Toro has had many good reviews, theres no reason why you shouldn't deal with him.

With noob CG, How are you meant to buy the CG alone? Is that even possible? Lets say for example, I am looking at the PAM308RU from H factory but want to swap the CG, as the roller doesn't look to great. But I can't seem to find a noob with the right CG.

Hi, I am looking through the H factory Pam's and they seem to have quite obvious tells CG, esp the one with the roller on the lever. Does anyone know where to source gen CG's from? I tried looking at various gen forums but had no luck at all. Or anyone who purchased a gen CG could recommend a reliable source? Thanks

So I asked my TD (Toro) for a different one because of the lume, for those who havent noticed the difference, and he gave me this one. This looks good to me, but I am bothered by the chip on the 6. Anyone else seeing this, or finding this a problem? My TD said theres no perfect Pam029, Im not sure If I am being too meticulous and idealistic, or if he just doesnt have the right batch of pam029's lol. Anyone could help me out here? Thanks

Also is the lume on the pam029 off? The hour hand and minute hands have different lumes?

Hi guys, purchasing a Pam029 and 318 Noob factory. Just got the QC pictures, I want to make sure they are fine. The 029 seems alittle off for the magnifying glass, and also the 6 and 18 looks like theres something there and the paint is not right? I'm not too sure, can you guys help me spot if there's anything wrong anywhere? Any input would be great, in return I'd do a comparison of Gen vs Rep croc strap if one hasn't already exist. I know theres a pinned thread, but it doesn't give clear hints as to which IWC's are closest to gen, or should i say "Super-reps". Like in the Panerai's there's PAM005, etc. Your opinions would be appreciated, thanks

Sorry I was referring to the tachymeter thing. The 10 20 30 40 50. The numbers are fatter, more like the gen no?

I realize the AP v2 has a thicker lume which is more like gen in comparison to the V3, am i seeing it right?
