Welcome to the forum! That said, you had better start reading or you will be in for some disappointment. Start by figuring out the movement you want and that means doing some research. A good start. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/85981-hey-noobor-not-so-noobread-this-now/ http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/2715-care-and-feeding-of-manual-watches-and-information-on-various-movements/
He's driving on the wrong side of the road while wearing gloves in summer temperatures (for where I am anyway) Winter, HA! Nice watch, strap combo though!
I'm pretty sure the sub case back will be too small in diameter. I don't own a DSSD but another problem may be movement clearance. I'm sure someone will be by with the answer. Good luck!
Apologies for my prior post, "bigbaddds" ! My response was the result of apparently incorrect info as to you being the one filling in the form shown by the OP.
Does the sender live in LaLa land? What would compel him to state the maker on the declaration? I'm sure it was not marked that way when it was sent to him! If you loose it to customs it's HIS fault and he should compensate you for his stupidity. Good Luck!
Unfortunately most of us are given no choice as our first foray into watch repair will be most likely an auto, as most of us own one, there are more of them out there, and they are more prone to problems.
TO O.P.
Very nice batch of purchases you have there! I'm glad you have a dedicated area planned for their use. Many happy mods to you!
It depends on how much you want to spend versus which flaws you are willing to accept. There is no perfect one out there you can buy other than the gen. If you want close to 1:1 you will have to get a modder to build you one. There are many threads out there comparing different models, you will have to decide on your own as you only know what you can afford and put up with. Good Luck.
