There are threads available and tutorials dealing with minor time regulation issues. If you own a rep you should familiarize yourself with how to do small timing changes. The simple turn of a screw may have saved you the hassle and expense of a return.As for the self winding issue, you may not have had enough movement throughout the day to wind the watch and have any power reserve. Better luck in the future. JMHO

Because a lot of people are trying to make a quick buck. just check ebay, lots of reps being sold as gens and a box set is just icing on the cake to these types. I'm sure you gentlemen don't fall into that category, but I have found once you have a bunch of reps, box sets just take up space and serve no real purpose. Their not
gens, and you know it,having a box won't change them. JMHO
Can't help you with removing the bezel, but I took the insert out of my V2 proplof using a heat gun on the low setting and finger cots to grip it as I slowly turned the insert in the bezel to loosen it. Be real careful as I believe they crack easily. Good Luck!
