  3. Welcome! Try reading some of this before ordering. http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/85981-hey-noobor-not-so-noobread-this-now/ It will save you pain in the future!
  4. Welcome back! I'm sure you will be amazed at the higher level of rep's available in comparison to even a few years ago. You are going to enjoy what you see!
  5. Very nice! A unique combination that turned out well.
  6. Congrat's, I know , had a similar situation. Just as much fun to put back, but at least you know it's possible!
  7. They just need to be screwed down, then rotate ring till one screw is at stem cut away and lift. Ring should pop up with a little finesse. Good luck!
  8. There are threads available and tutorials dealing with minor time regulation issues. If you own a rep you should familiarize yourself with how to do small timing changes. The simple turn of a screw may have saved you the hassle and expense of a return. As for the self winding issue, you may not have had enough movement throughout the day to wind the watch and have any power reserve. Better luck in the future. JMHO

  12. . Because a lot of people are trying to make a quick buck. just check ebay, lots of reps being sold as gens and a box set is just icing on the cake to these types. I'm sure you gentlemen don't fall into that category, but I have found once you have a bunch of reps, box sets just take up space and serve no real purpose. Their not gens, and you know it,having a box won't change them. JMHO
  13. Likewise, The place for your rep is on your arm, in a winder, or in a display case. Unless you have something else in mind for your rep 16610?

Beautiful build , really like the big crown models!
  15. Can't help you with removing the bezel, but I took the insert out of my V2 proplof using a heat gun on the low setting and finger cots to grip it as I slowly turned the insert in the bezel to loosen it. Be real careful as I believe they crack easily. Good Luck!
  16. Good review, glad you didn't toss it! Appreciate the time it took and I like your delivery style. Looking forward to more in the future.
