  1. Sorry to ask, but why would one want to run the chrono permantly ?
  2. Today, friday, I'll go for these babies: 16600 in the day time 1665 SR in the evening
  3. My god! 15K? for such a ugly little genuine franken? People are insane if you ask me. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Stephane
  4. I heard about that person...sounds interresting. One of you guys should tell the full story to us, noobs
  5. Bonjour Monsieur Euno, Thanks for your nice words. Mine is 2nd too I think...probably after the Great White. It's for sure the first "modern" gen that I would consider hunting one day maybe. Cheers Stephane
  6. Hey Rikske, I got the 22 mm. It fits without to much compression. 0.5 mm each side isn't such a big difference! Get it in 22 if like me you hate gaps, even from 0.5 mm Cheers Stephane (Bent jij van Brussel ?)
  7. Thanks again guys.... @Stagfan This watch is not cheap. It's going to end at around 1K USD. But, again, the $ is so low that in euro is sounds better: 666
  8. Great news, thanks for letting us know. Cheers Stephane
  9. A 3717 with genuine Eta Day/Date Wheels, a new strap and genuine K2222 Anti Reflect Coating Dear All, Recently I started a thread looking for advices about straps for the IWC 3717. Some very nice members gave me advices here. I must say that I didn't follow most of them (I couldn’t afford all the nice suggestions at the same time). I picked a very nice one from The Strap Shop UK. A very good strap supplier in the UK In the meantime, K2222 was offering a new run for AR coating. Although I was a little sceptical when he started to post here a few months ago, I have to apologize now. I do apologize K2222 is not only performing great AR coating in the EU but also he is an incredible nice person. You can follow his last run here. By the way, US members, Chieftang is doing so in the US too You can go for US AR here. So, basically, the AR is great and I can't see why I didn't go for that before. The watch behaves completely differently on the wrist. That crystal which is disappearing is just amazing to look at. I am not sure my photos show what one feels when wearing a perfectly AR coated watch, but believe me, it's truly different from the plain rep. My conclusion is: go for it, you will not regret it! @All: thanks for looking and reading. Cheers Stephane PS: a genuine Eta 7750 is on it's way to EU and will be installed soon... More pics soon.
  10. Thanks By-Tor. Not only is it the right way to post a comparison, but it is a great way to start our day! This shows clearly that RepAustria is right when saying there are serious variations in genuine Rolex dials and date fonts!!! Even in Rolex of the same age. All of us can show off our YM now ! Have a great day, Stephane
  11. Hey a 16660 ! Bravo Jojo. These are going for big prices at the moment. The Sea Dweller is so more sexy than any cycloped Rolex ! Great choice you made in my opinion. So what was your first feeling when you got it on your wrist ? - Finally a real watch - So much better than reps - Not bad but not so different from reps - Why buy gens, reps are good enough? Cheers and congrats, Stephane
  12. Congratulation for your hunt. It's certainly a wonderful example of a great vintage Rolie I'm very happy you found it and wish you all the best with your new baby. Mr Euno is certainly a fine person and you confirm what lots of us think. Great choice...one problem though : you make me consider that one too now Cheers Stephane
  13. I'd love to be able to see this from your pics ...but I'm really far from having an Eagle Eye. Maybe BT could tell. I'm very fresh in YM and doesn't know nothing about the various versions. Sorry Scoobs.
  14. @BT and Scoobs I checked mine so you know. 100% Invisible with naked eye. When taking a 10x loupe, you need to search for it but it's there. (Reminder: mine is a full noob, Asian 21 from Narika).
  15. Hey Scoobs, Nice idea that you post yours. Cool to see different versions and there are never too many reviews on RWG !!! Actually there should be more and more reviews... So thank you very much for your time and efforts to share your new baby with us. Cheers Stephane EDIT: Forgot to mention that mine seems Yellowish aswell in certain pictures but not in real life.
  16. My Lord, pls forgive me to confirm I do not like it But I have a lot of secrets, you're right!
