  1. It's sunday here, the sky is still horribly grey. Let's have fun and change the watch on the wrist for this. Yes, it's the @6 running seconds, and it still runs fine.
  2. Mid-summer ? Well summer started here a couple of days ago and we have an horrible low and grey sky, some rain and 20
  3. Thanks KKS Can't wait to see the pics. Cheers Stephane
  4. Thanks to you Monsieur Fitmic Hope all is well for you. Cheers Stephane
  5. Hmmm shall I try again Yeah, let's [censored] another one What kind of screwdriver should I use for a 2824/2836 Eta ?
  6. Exactly. Eta's should be left to experts. That button, I pushed one once and never could put the crown back
  7. For today, Friday, I'm hesitating between: This one and this one For the week-end, I have no idea yet. Cheers Stephane
  8. Yes . Hmm, no, it was but not anymore in fact. Kindergarden ? WTF, at the end of the day. We, here at RWG, have access to everything, so, that is all what should matters to us. TTK: you are a real star man, glad to speak to you so often Please send me a signed picture of you in my next MBW package. But make sure you don't sign it on your face so I can photoshop it and put my face aside of yours to show to my beloved kids while saying: "you see, I have a picture with Paul Mac Cartney, and now, even better, one with TTK, the most flamed guy on RWG" So, to all our collectors, thanks and to TTK thanks a lot ! It's a pleasure to deal with you, allthough you are neither german, nor greek. Nobody is perfect Cheers Stephane
  9. Hi Barry, Welcome. Can I suggest you support the board first and get yourself a VIP membership ... There is a lot to read inside, probably what you're looking at. Cheers Stephane
  10. Pitty you didn't add some diamonds Sorry for this silly comment, I hate TT and bling. Enjoy though. Cheers Stephane
  11. that is a $$$ option though. Isn't it. I mean for a 5 or 10k watch, why not but for a 1.5K ???
  12. Sometimes According to a majority of women, feelings too Thanks for the advice. Maybe I should check that out in one of the second hand stores down here before commiting to buy one. Cheers Stephane
  13. I'm jalous now My first idea was to get a 8502 on Toile de voile
  14. You're damn right ! I didn't expect to love them so much a year ago. And you're right again: the Great White is the best one, my favourite. If only Euno didn't post a 5513... I guess I'll end up with one too Cheers Stephane
  15. No! Two brains: one for his daily activities and one that posts
  16. Hi Dluddy, Guess what I did Pm Lello and order They will look great with those DW. Thanks and cheers Stephane
  17. Hey Monsieur Euno, I much prefer the SS one on the wrist. The only way I could wear the AMG is by putting the kevlar strap on it. That full grayish looking thing on the wrist is not very nice in my opinion Thanks for the tip on the hands Cheers Stephane
  18. I'm sorry to add to your stress but I ordered several times without problems untill one item was not what I was looking for. The same Michael emailed me back saying "send it back" I will refund. That was months ago. After a couple of reminders, I never heard back from the guy which is quite surprising as I stated I would buy much more from him and gave him a list... Good luck Stephane
  19. Dear All, Here is a pictorial of my first trade with Fitmic. About the deal Well, that is one more deal that was straight forward. I sincerely prefer to deal/trade with members than buy from some collectors We agreed on the price, payment was send and Fitmic sent the watch when he got back in town. It was delivered safely within the EU, and now I'm wearing it About the Genuine - Mechanical movement - Automatic Pellaton winding system - Power reserve of 44 hours when fully wound - Date display with crown-activated rapid calendar advance - Hour and minute hands - Central seconds hand with stop function - Screw-in crown - Soft iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields of up to 80,000 A/m - Sapphire glass antireflective on both sides - Water-resistant 120 m - Screw-in back cover - IWC metal bracelet system with deployant clasp Price range: 5.900€ / 7.900$ Here the horrible pictures of Iwc.com About Fitmic's watch A lot has been posted on this rep. I think it's a must have. Sober, simple, sporty and elegant, it has a true genuine feeling. It's a quite heavy one has well. As for flaws, well I can only spot the hands that are slightly too short again and of course…the date. But the date is an easy fix thanks to our member Lello. This rep is powered by an silver Eta 2824-2. As bonus, Fitmic add the IWC bracelet tools, thanks for that too man. What is going to happen next The DW will be changed. Conclusion It's my first deal with Fitmic and I'm happy with the deal and do recommend him. Thanks for reading, and now here are the pics. Note: there are a lot of scratches on this watch, but that doesn't bother me at all...a watch must live, isn't it. Cheers Stephane
  20. Well, I think you might be right. Waiting pays. I personaly do not mind about AR and followed Pix advice. The order is placed and I can't wait to see that "cheap" rep arrive. Again, only members & experts could spot the tiny differences between the Lite, the Swiss and the Gen. I prefer to spend 500$ in modding a vintage rollie than 700 in an HBB super swiss mega rep with flaws Thanks for this thread Pix and everyone. It's educating. Cheers Stephane
  21. Sorry to read this Monsieur Euno. Why didn't you mesure it before buying the strap though ? Cheers Stephane
