Sorry where do you bought it?
It's now gone but I got it from Precious Time UK.
-
Do it Ubi!
I just bought one for my 1665 GreatWhite too.
So, you see how long it took me to find one
Please build a great white yourself now that you have the best piece to start with !
-
Glad you are ok and surely glad that you learned the lesson.
My two last crashes where due to: 1) lightning a cigarette 12 years ago 2) changing the radio station 1 year ago.
Both in the city, hiting the front car at not even 30 KM/H
There is no way I will read or do whatever while driving anymore!
-
Guess i'll just have to admit that my vanity takes a front seat in this...
Go, go, go !!!
Here's for you Chef, an old version of the WM9 (that I should have kept btw):
You see, it likes water
-
WM9 by BK
Exactly.
You will have an almost gen for the price you want.
Waterproffing these watches is really not difficult
And the ETA movement are workhorses too...

This has it all

Thanks Frank

Bad and good news on my side regarding the GTG.
The bad news first: I might not be able to attend, and that is trully hurting me.
The good news: I might be back live on a national radio as presentor starting the week-ends of October.
I feel terribly sad to announce this and will confirm if it is the case; so far I prefer to imagine how well I would be sharing time with you all.
I hope everyone here will be kind enough to drink at least 5 Pastis to my health if I can't come
All the best to all,
Stephane

I'll have to eat my words, that falls well under the '10% of a Gen' price!
) That's actually pretty good value at 7k Euros!
+1.
In the end, one does what they want with their money, right?
But still, it's a lot of money for sure
-
easy fix
Yeah but even better without need for fix
Now, it is a great deal. Reasonably accurate dial/case without those silly (fake-looking) & misaligned yellow index markers.
+1 Freddy. I think I'll go for one once I find a kind recipient as I cannot receive anything from the far east anymore or they'll put me in jail at the end
Hooray for josh and his factory contacts .. they sorted out this issue as quickly as they could.
Sure thing, very good move of Josh on this one.
Thanks for the efforts!
I really miss that watch allthough I never wore any version I had
Not even this one
-
the markers touching the rehaut - looks good 2me :)i hope they start now with the 1675 !cheers,Frank
Agreed ...but the lume
No need for a torch as it is tritium

My best and sincere thoughts are with her and everybody around her TJ!

Freddy,
I have one coming from Mary.
I'll shoot pics as soon it arrives as me too I want the best option for my new 1680 project
The problem will be that it's not 9315 engraved, but that is not a big deal to me.
Cheers
Stephane

You are correct.
At least my genuine 1680 (now gone!) was like this:
-
Great looking watch Red.
I've been looking to this one for ages and still can't decide if I should go for it.
Thanks for sharing or ...hate you for putting this one back on my list
-
That is very nice Sir!
You're not bad at taking photos
-
Thanks for sharing !
That case back and bezel is ...pricey ?
Oh my god. I know a happy man who bought my Repaustria 1655 with a gen bezel
-
Thanks Jkay.
I'll give a look at that
-
Very nice !
Good catch for sure.
I would go for the folded...it's a real must for the 1680!
As said in another thread, I wouldn't mind getting some input about the folded:
"who has the best folded"
-
Nicely done !
The 1680 is really a great Rolex.
Congrats
The folded bracelet is a must for sure.
Can anybody point me in the right direction to get one for myself?
-
Model 6619 OP powered by the 26-jewel, automatic calibre 1161.
Case is 24.5mmx10.5mm.
13mm SS Oyster bracelet with 66 end links (may swap the Oyster for a Jubilee).
Made in 1952 &, believe it or not, if charged under a bright light, the tritium still glows (dimly) for about 30 seconds.
To my eye, because of its minimalist design (no index markers & lots of white space), this is the most beautiful ladies watch Rolex ever produced.
Thanks Freddy.
Amazing piece for sure!

Hey Stephane. I hear Virgin Airlines is a fun way to fly! You could always fly out here! I'd be happy to come pick you up at the Airport
Sure, but it would be a very very very expensive GTG
Not sure my bank would allow me to do such a thing!
I've never been to California, and I'm almost 50
I'm sure I will come one day though...so maybe we will have the opportunity to meet then!
