  1. Converted over a while back from Denon to McIntosh...Have both B&W and Boston speakers...Currently running the Bostons...TTmcintosh2.jpg

Now you get me very jalous!

I have bought HERE on RWG a Hi-fi system a while ago.

Since then, I improved it and wonder how the hell it is possible to listen to music on an iPhone, iPod, or whatever.

It has been 10 years without a Hi-Fi system in my home...

This afternoon I stoped working to listen to the latest remastered Band on the run Album of Paul Mc Cartney.

Couldn't imagine listening to this without a proper Hi-Fi system.

I currently have Cambridge amp, cd and a pair of Davis speakers + a non direct drive turntable (no idea how you call that in english? Belt?).

    Great speakers, affodable...

My first next profits will upgrade this to a MacIntosh amp and some other great shit to enjoy music even more.

Long life to all kinds of music!

    Congrats TT :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  2. Just the other day, a friend told me he heard of a Rolex only store opening up near me in Orlando, in the Mall Of Millenia. It makes me wonder why they did not go this route years ago. Sure, it will be a big investment on their part in the beginning to set up and run their own shops, but they WILL pass that cost to the customer, and the customer will pay it because after all, its Rolex. In the long run, it will give them better control of their products and ensure to everyone once and for all "the only way to ensure you get a real Rolex, is to buy it from us". Nothing more exclusive than that.

    Cheers B)

It makes a lot of sense indeed.

    Allthough Panerai153 has a point.

If you look at Swatch, at the end of the day there are not so much Swatch only Shops in the EU.

Maybe the way to go for Rolex is a mix, just like Swatch ;)

After all, certain Rolex have ETAs in it

  3. Thanks again everyone for your kind words. Look it it this way, I will be able to spend more time with my RWG friends :) Truth be told, the job sucked and I wasn't happy. I had an hour and a half commute (on a good day), I didn't like what I was doing and it wasn't going to get any better. I have a couple of things in the pipeline, but sitting here when you know you should be at work, is unnerving. Like someone said; what doesn't kill you, will make you stronger.

    Marty

I feel for you Marty but with such an attitude I'm confident it's a change for better.

I've been through this (the job) 10 months ago and now I feel so much better as I have new challenges in front of me!

As for the loss of a Dad, as said, every one reacts differently but it is allways hard.

    Accept my best thoughts.

In short: you are now stronger.

    All the best,

    Stephane

  4. Way to go Stephane! A special watch for your special day.. Happy Birthday my friend! :drinks:EDIT: pretty decent content for being post #666! :D

Wonderfull pilot watch Stephane :thumbsupsmileyanim: Changes of what you generaly wear :D I should PM Andy to learn more about this production ;)PS : au passage (qui sont assez rare il est vrai  ) : Bon anniversaire ;)

Thanks so much guys !

  5. I am with Maxman on this.

A fake watch would look like a watch but, by definition, be a non functional item.

Our watches are not only functional but are replications of genuine high end pieces.

The use of the word fake to describe our watches is not only grammatically incorrect, but also a deliberate attempt to try and degrade them as much as possible.

    Ken

    +1

  6. Don't worry yet.

I send packs to Germany all the time and it goes fast...BUT

The last one I sent, registered mail as usual, the post said they couldn't find it allthough they adviced recipient a pack was waiting for him at the post office. :bangin:

We are still waiting...and I thing it will be fixed.

We're over 3 weeks for sure.

Now, to be honest, I'm worrying a bit though: it contains a genuine Great White Rail dial + the watch + genuine hands :Jumpy:

    Good luck.

    Stephane

  7. Stephane my friend...thank you for the kind words.

I can understand a little profit for the legwork or for having a "connection".

And yes, sometimes it is easier to pay a higher price than wait for a good deal...I have done so myself and don't regret paying more.

    But sheesh, from $18 - $36 to $125 - $350?

Be well and blessing to you and your family.

Be well too K. And blessing to all.

You are right: I would never pay 400

  8. Oh yes you helped people.

I can attest you are helping, honest and straight.

It's very good you alarm the community about what's a rip off indeed.

A short note though: as we are in an illegal activity I would agree to pay a little more for these parts.

Even for my genuine DateJust, my non official watchmaker had to wait for 3 months to get a couple of wheels!

But I totaly disagree, and it drives me crazy when I see that happen, to resell with such profits, parts that have been passed freely or at the cost price.

Thanks for shouting out loud :thumbsupsmileyanim:

    Cheers

    Stephane
