  1. Took some new photos of my 1680 for Halloween. I finaly managed to get the silver date wheel and the 31 show their best view ! Happy Halloween
  2. Wow, B, that is a great route! Thanks for sharing with us. Hmmm, BTW, I'm looking to acquire a 15200. Are Date much smaller on the wrist than DateJust?
  3. I'm whith KBH: 16014 but with a smooth bezel. So this gen is frankensteined But I intend to put the fluted bezel back on it This one is not yet arrived but is my next DJ...and should arrive very soon
  4. That is a fnpgb cyueflqs super watch you get LG. And as Lani says, wow, what a photo and lightning ! Congrats!!!Bien
  5. All these classic designs are growing on me. I'm getting my second DateJust currently. But, the Rolex you posted recently are one step further in class Jojo. I hope I will see them soon!
  6. That is a very nice watch Avitt. It's great to see it posted here. You should share photos more often with us, they are very good and clear. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Bravo RW! Nothing beats a family ring for sure. I wish you all the best
  8. You should stop posting such great photos... It is only pushing me to get one !!! Great photos, pls keep them coming
  9. Beautifull photos you post Lani. Today, I wear what I consider like my ultimate piece... Well, it is surely my original grail so no trade with this one to get another one. Who has the best Sub? Rolex
  10. Horrible story that happens to often Wowowo, that is a serious plan. Congrats again. Yes, of course it's fun to build it instead of buying a gen one!
  11. Lovely project and very well done indeed. I would very much appreciate more details about the parts and the story of your watch. I bought my first DateJust lately ( a gen ) and I became very attracted by these watches. There seem to be a DateJustMania starting here these days. I would recommend, as Freddy already did, to buy at least one "neo-vintage" gen before they eventually follow the prices of the Subs and SDs. I saw a TwoTone with white dial on Jubille going for 1.500
  12. Hey TJ, You're doing nice reviews man. Thanks for that. And on top of that, the fact you review budget watches is also very interresting for the community. After all, why put 250 or 300$ if the goal is have a feel of the watch in real life You know what? I think I'm going to follow your route. At least for the DateJust as I wouldn't mind to test them and eventually buy a gen when I like the budget rep on my wrist. Cheers Stephane
  13. Lovely photos, and watches guys! I'm going to wear my 1655 today.
  14. Congrats Richard. That is a fantastic acquisition. And Tritim Wow, some days are goooood
  15. Great Gesture Josh! Thanks a lot.
  16. I'm here Jojo...Yes, Canal Street Amazing...what can be found in NYC, just around the corner of Canal Street Did I guess well ?
  17. Like everybody I am very impressed with the result. I really want to think about a watch I'd send to you to have such a treatment. If only we were rich people I'd do a recent gen Sub 16610 Congrats Avitt. Great watch and job!
  18. Well Vly, you must try it for sure. Actually, these 36 wears much better than 45 for sure. We've seen ridiculously large watches out there and in the end how many are wearable, every day, and in every occasion? None The only one I trully see as a daily wear is the PO. So, having a lot of 40 MM Rolex and other brands wear time, I can state the following: 1. 36 is just fine (as long as you don't have Hulk wrists of course It's very readable, confortable and not ridiculous at all with sportswear or a suit. 2. Going back to my Submariners makes me feel like wearing "a big tool watch" 3. Elegance will never accomodate with "monsters" Buy a rep ...wear it and then you'll see if you are ready for a gen As another example, this one is very cool too (only missing a date!):
  19. Great watches and photos guys. All day Probably tonight
  20. Back to 1978 to start the week:
  21. Exactly what I was thinking ! But I would need more watch cash to get such a beauty. I'm sure I'll be in NYC again, the question is when It's funny you're going for gold. I have a friend's Dad who has a Steel/Gold date just. Since I bought my first steel one, I'm looking all over the place to get a TT but with Oyster Bracelet, not Jubilee. Congrats on this one too Jojo...you're going to have to buy a new safe indeed !!!
