After rotating my frankens subs (5513,1680,1665), the gen 16710 and the franken 1655 I went for the gen 16600 today.
What I love in Rolex is that they all feel so different on the wrist
Ok guys!
The main GTG will be on saturday 23rd of May.
So, for anybody who want to be there from the friday, or stay till the sunday...I will be available anyway.
But the main day is saturday!
Cheers
Stephane
As time passes I am more and more a sub guy.
But here are the watches
Soon gone: genuine GMTII "Swiss dial" from 1999
Traded for the above GMTII, a genuine ExporerII
Still in my collection, and probably will stay there, my RepAustria GMTII (gen stuff, like dial, crown...)
Finally, here is the latest arrival!
Great start...the heart of the group is going to join I'm sure...
For members who feel shy, no need to worry, we do want to know you and if we never met before, please join...now!
IMPORTANT
Just in case: you know how difficult it is to set a date that suits everyone, right?
But, if you really want to attend and are 100% NOT FREE on those 22/23 of may, feel free to post you favourire dates.
I would recommend after though as Belgium's weather can be pretty awfull before
Brussels annual GTG, 2009 V1.0
Hello all,
Andy, our master of ceremony and my self would like to set up the 2009 Brussels GTG.
This thread is only for gauging interest and to propose a first date option: may 22/23.
What we want to organise?
An afternoon and evening at my place on the Saturday 23rd.
The place isn't a castle but large enough to host 20 persons as we did in 2008.
And, which is nice, it would be way cheaper than going else where.
It would be a walking dinner/wines/alcohol in the evening and snacks/beers/soft drinks in the afternoon.
At that period of the year we might even enjoy the garden
+1 here...I think I'm going to send Robbie or By-Tor my watches and let them take the photos
Since I have a Nikon D60 I am frustrated! I can't handle that thing...
I'll have to sell it...anybody
How about a red/blue/black insert
Well, I kept my RepAustria one but won't make it a Pepsi...
I traded this gen for a .... 1680 White
So it's my last chances to wear a gen GMTII this week.
VD sucks ! A lot.
If it is the only day you think about bringing your better half a gift it's a joke!
If you bring back flowers and chocolates and gifts all around the year without any reason you win....
I'm one of those wearing them on the right wrist.
The story is simple:
When I was a teenager (you know, that period when you want to be different!), I decided to wear my watch on the right wrist to be different.
Most of the guys in my school were wearing them upside down on the left wrist, which I hated.
I was the only one among the group to wear it on the right one.
Almost 38 years later, it would be simply impossible to wear it on the left one, allthough I tried several times.
Thanks for the nice words TMG.
I'm afraid I'm a bit ...surprised by your choice
I'll look to it more and more, but I must say...it took me by surprise, seriously.
