  1. I would prefer a black DB9 and a black PO but your montage is very nice. Thanks for that.
  2. @Freddy: The Sensational Beatles Ok, here a couple of dirty pics from my latest arrival!
  3. Hmmm, Lani that is a difficult count. Unless each and every member post his personal count I think it will be hard to estimate. I estimate my own count to 60...
  4. Thanks Lani. Impressive to say the least...
  5. How about a big welcome for Vac's modification shop ... WELCOME Good to see more skills here Cheers Stephane
  6. Ok, Ok...I changed my mind. I wanted papers, box, goodies and then suddenly noticed I was paying double to get a full set. So, in example...I am looking for a 1680 White currently. You won't believe this probably but most of the members here are saying "papers/goodies are an extra 500". Sure! The 1680 my usual seller has for sale costs over 7K.... After mailing him and telling him I am in the 4K range....he said "no problem Stephane, I'll get you a full untouched 1680 white but no papers/goodies" Now imaging I receive my watch and send it to Rolex for service. As it is a gen, they will service it and return it with a "ROLEX SERVICE 1 YEAR GARANTEE PAPERS" Isn't that good enough to make the watch authentic? Now, if you want a genuine box set for your baby, fo to Tomyama on eBay and send him 100$ and you have a full set
  7. Upo is only a name given when that version I have came out. I have no idea about your is or is not a UPO. Let's say it is not a UPO because the dial doesn't look like mine but I'm not sure the discussion is very interresting. What is obvious to me is that yours has a bad dial.
  8. Sorry no photo yet. I had the opportunity to meet a local member and we traded a Deep Sea Seadweller V3 ! I am positively impressed. That is a nice watch for sure. A true Rolex and the bracelet (thin bracelet) doesn't bother me at all ... It is heavy, very different but still a Rolex. So far I enjoy it.
  9. Oh my mistake TeeJay. I completely missed your thread. Sorry for that. Thanks for sharing the big day of your life mate. I sincerely wish you all the best. Kindest regards to the bride Stephane
  10. I'm probably your opposite brother in colour. You like white...I like black One thing I have to state publicly BT: your photo of my Daytona almost makes me want to put it on my wrist again .
  11. +1 here Tazz. Don't follow Lani in all his adventure though...he is a dangerous man
  12. I can give you this one but if you promises to return it
  13. Hmmm me too saw some lamps there Freddy ...
  14. Hmm, I don't know what the sticker means but the dial is not top notch
  15. Where did you get it from in the end if I may ask...
  16. Hmmm, that will be difficult if you look for an accurate one. As anything else in matter of taste...go for what you really like and avoid the time bomb
  17. Morlock, as TT says you rock. Fantastic review. Unlike the Breitling, which I owned some, I didn't yet tried a TH. This one seems very nice. Cheers Stephane
  18. Wow, I'm not a Breitling fan but this is an awsome review for sure! Looks like we are lucky to meet a new great reviewer. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Stephane
  19. Hmmm, I'm the lucky owner of Kruzer's 196 which you have build, lumed, serviced and so on Rob, as you know. More about it here: Panerai Daylight 196: Ziggyfied, Gen 7753, Chief AR,... So, for me, and probably for all the members who have one of your work of art on their wrist, it is and remain the best workmanship seen so far. I wonder why people have to critisize when they don't even know what they are missing It's human probably. I guess that on the other hand, a bit like St Thomas, one must see it in the flesh to believe it
