I didn't want to do this, but feel I have no choice

The hatchet has been buried a long time ago as you know TeeJay. Different opinions is what make the human kind interresting. Otherwise we would still be animals And I much prefer a guy like you who is voicing his opinions than some JetMids we come accross from time to time -
We want more !!! Tribal tell us more about your splendid Great White please

Good morning everyone, And a special "Good morning" to you TeeJay. As a very fresh moderator I now have access to the Admin room. I can assure you that everything is discussed over there indeed, everything. I would like to make your day bright: there as never been any intention of banning you. I will not repeat what everyone else already said but still I will tell you and others the following: - RWG is indeed liberal and all opinions can be voiced (respecting others of course). - I'm sure the RWG membership is fed up of dramas, like the Admin team is. And I suspect that the silent majority is even more. As my own conclusion to this thread (and all others in which I didn't post), let's move forward and leave these topics in our back. Any crusade against Josh and Andrew is pointless as their business is doing fine and will continue anyway. I for one never buy from them, nor any other dealer, as I choose to trade with members or buy second hand. But I have to voice my opinion too on the various dealers, if you don't mind. From all the dealers I used to buy watches from (and that is quite a lot, believe me), Josh and Andrew were the ONLY ones that provided perfect material. There has never been a scratched case back, a stripping crown, or 6 months delay to get my order. When watches were seized, Andrew sent me one of his expensive sub to replace them. All this said, trust me, I'm no longer a customer, and do not look for their good opinion. Now, what I really would like to see happen is RWG gets back to its great atmosphere and friendship. No hard feelings from me, I mean it. All the best, Stephane -
I second Nanuq here. But will try to express with others words I made a serious bunch of friends here and had the opportunity to meet them and even to get them at my place. Not all of them yet unfortunately. It's really a matter of human relationship more than trying to put the best collection toghether. Of course, in the beginning it's for watches ...but with time, free parts as gifts that I received and sent, the relation side has been growing a lot. RWG is like a "real" community: good persons, some lesser good, some with whom you match very well and some you dislike. But I'm pretty sure that if a World GTG happened and that ALL the active members attended, we would fall in the arms of each others. Cheers Stephane

Beware though. Freddy experienced it as he thought we could get a low pofile Daytona case. The watch he received was NOT the one in the pictures

Wow, thanks for sharing that beauty. Edit: it's on my laptop now

Easy, but frightning: NEVER buy from Asia to Europe and NEVER use EMS. Choose Euro based collectors and members and use simple registered mail else you will be in deep shit

Happy Birthday Babola, Lazarini & Irongambit :)

Hi Guys, A little update with the Sea Dweller Saga... Last week I got a call and the AD told me Rolex had promised to do it as a total priority. I can pick it up on august 8th. So, of course, I was quite satisfied... . . . . . BUT . . . . Today my cell phone rang and the AD asked me some questions again: "Sir, you wanted a service but what do we do with the spare bracelet?" My god, I already told them twice I didn't want a spare bracelet. "Ok Sir, but about the service. You asked to NOT polish it, right?" Yes I did... "Well it is polished, I'm sorry, Rolex was too fast and they started with the polishing!" Why did they do that? "Obviously, the watch has been polished before and not by an official Rolex Service Center. So the shape wasn't right. " Ok, listen, there is nothing I can do now, so let's continue the service anyway. "Thanks for your understanding Sir." I was about to ask the guy: So what is wrong with the shape: was it the CGs, the lugs ? .... Because I know some great modders personaly. You might have heard about MM, Tribal, Kelster, Taka or Ziggy .... Anyway, it's coming back soon Cheers Stephane
