i dont think so... without a close up of the gearing you can only tell by the balance wheel and it looks like the 18000BPH balance wheel (its slightly larger than the 21600BPH)

COD doesnt allow you to open&inspect the package prior payment (at least here). you have to pay and then you get the package. if there are stones insides, you cant do nothin about it!

its really a GREAT watch and i love it, BUT why couldnt they get the spelling of the day of the week right???

WOW, you should get some education in reading, i guess i clearly said im no daytona EXPERT, but the subdial @6 looks like its a 24hour indicator (and the hand positions match with the subdial hand positions) and the non-SEL endlinks looked worn out, i said nothing else! but i now know its gen and how much it was... my speculation was just about the sub @6. if the chrono would have been resetet to ZERO before taking the pic, i couldnt tell if it was gen or fake simply b/c i dont have such knowledge about the pre 2000 reps (and i said that too) and btw. congratz to the gen daytona darthsimon!

regarding tanfos watches... i think at least most of them are reps (thats what he told me), but he's got a bunch of genuine merchandise and boxsets for them!

they look "worn out" or "cheap" as you might say! if you wear the watch a lot, those non-SEL (rep) endlinks will bent a little and form a gap between them and the case. i dont know if thats the case on gens too, but it is the case on cheap asian auto daytonas! if it is the same with gens that would be a real pitty! regarding the sub @6 i know what it SHOULD be, but you cant tell from the picture if the watch really houses a zenith movement (which means a chrono movt) or just some daydayte asian auto crap movement! if it would house a asian daydate, the sub @6 would be a 24hour indicator (day/night) and i think the position of the hand of the subdial matches the time shown by the main hands for a 24hour indicator!

seriously? (the walmart thing) i dont think rolex (the manufactor) sells their watches to anyone besides AD's! it's probably to prevent gray market sales, but it still is bullcrap!

i dont know, but i wouldnt take the risk boi tanfo would have some serious problem when moving to the US

i just found this: which basically means, if you live in the US and buy a rolex from lets say some german guy and customs open the package, they can SEIZE it... seriously i think thats just bullcrap! especialy in a globalized 21st century! so it wouldnt make a difference if you buy a replica for 100bucks from overseas or a genuine for a few 10grand
