  3. hello, i think that beside the weight also the the subdial printing is wrong. the "1" of 10 is wrong. best wishes olreon
  4. hello, count emin for 2 datewheels. one for a gmt and one for a power reserve. best wishes
  5. hello, count me in for 2 crown guards. maybe we should make a list of "who is in"? best wishes olreon
  6. hello, crowns are not necessary, palp already did some perfect ones. best wishes
  7. hello, i´m really fixed by this vintage pam´s! it makes so much fun to build such a vintage piece and i have to say that i´m very proud when i´m wearing it. for now it is my "most-liked-watch"! that´s why i´m starting to build a new 6152-2, but this time i will make some pics of the development! the next should be this one! best wishes olreon
  8. hello, the plexi was crafted from a 50mmx50mmx10mm plexiplate. i did this by my own. (i got another project on the way and i will make some pics of the making of the plexi) the orange/brown lume was also done by myselfe. i used colored pencils. this was very easy. but it is is not that easy to explain in words hoe the watch was done. as said, i got another project watch on the way. this should be then a luminor panerai. this time i will make a photostory.... casue a picture says more then 1000 words. best wishes olreon
  9. hello, i think that this one is a fake, cause the gen marinas don´t use screws for the straps, they use bracklet-pins. best wishes olreon
  10. hello, @chris5264 the dial is from a mm20 rep. but i think that davidsen also carry´s them. best wishes olreon
  11. hello, this is my 6152 project watch. i have built it from a fiddy case (0117/1950). as you can see it has a plexi crystal which was handcrafted by me. this was a lot of work and i did have to make a couple till i made the perfect one. what do you think? or and here 2 gen pics for comparsion (i know these are 6152 radiomirs, but i don´t have better pics of a marina militare with crown guard)
  12. hello, the new version is way better than the first version. this time it has the fiddy case and the dial is right. the only problem is that the genuine is made of titanium and the rep is made of ss. i will definetely get one if a better version in titanium comes out. best wishes
  13. hello, i wanted to know if someone could tell me how to mix up the parts (dilutor, varnish, c3 powder) for reluming. should the mixture be more liquid or more thick? do you use all parts or do you only mix up the varnish and the c3 powder? thanks in advance! best wishes olreon
  14. i love it too. the only thing that is disturbing me is that the datefond is wrong! best wishes
  15. hello, i can´t understand the hassle about these homer crowns. they are miles away from the gen crowns, and as far as i know the palp crowns are the best that are available. best wishes olreon
  16. i recived the "bad 6497" last friday. i inspected it and took a closer look at the hairspring. on friday everything was ok. i wound it up and let it work till today and still everything is ok, the hairspring is not bent. maybe it was realy a problem of the earlier "new bad 6497" that they have fixed in the later runs. best wishes olreon
  17. hello, yes, i also heared that there should be a big pilot rep with eta movement. best wishes olreon
  18. yes that´s true. we fixed bigger problems than this, in the past. best wishes olreon
  19. hello, this morning i recived a brand new "bad" 6497 from trusty. i inspected the movement and the hairspring isn´t bent, till now. i have wound it up and it workes fine, the hairspring is not touching the balance [censored]. so we will see, i will let it run over the weekend in different positions, face up, face down on the side etc. i will let you know on monday if it is okay or also making problems. maybe the first run of these new movement does have the hairspring problem and they fixed it on the later runs. best wishes olreon
  20. hello, this is realy getting mysterious. i own one of these new bad 6497´s and another is on the way. i have reassembled the movement and took a closer look at the gears and the finish of the movement. i compared it to the other gen swiss 6497´s and to a asian 6497 i own. the finish of the gears and the whole movement is equal to the gen swiss 6497 but as ziggy said, there are some differences in the main plate of the movement, screws for the dialpins, etc. the next thing i recogniced is that the design of the balance of these 3 movements is different. but the genuine, bad and asia have the same design take a look at the pics and you will see. genuine eta, genuine eta panerai, genuine eta (best version available, i think) bad new eta asian eta for me the balance of the bad is closer to the genuine than to the asian. i have compared them and saw that the bad new eta balance has a different gold colour (similar to the gen) than the asian. but you can also see that there are differences between the genuine balances but who knows, i think the only ones who can clear this are the dealers. they have to talk to the makers! best wishes olreon
  21. ooooohhhhhhhh, i´m really excited. is this "something" a datewheel, probably grey and has flat 3´s? best wishes olreon
  22. hello, when i recognized that i have problems with mine i tested if another balance with [censored] will work on it. i just swapped it from another swiss 6497, the one with the old plates like in the pam036. and it worked fine without any problems normaly this would be ok, but the black seal has a crystal-caseback and it´s boring me that the balance stud doesn´t have the same engraving as the whole movement. best wishes olreon
  23. i see it the same way. best wishes olreon
  24. hello, i own one of these new bad 6497 movements. i got exactly the problem that ziggy described in his post above. i know what is to do to fix it but i don´t have the skills to do it. i hope that ziggy is willing to fix that for me. otherwise the movement is/was very good in timekepping. it was the first handwind eta 6497 that should not be regulated. i thought "cool", but after 6 weeks it stopped working, and now i . best wishes olreon
