  1. Hi all, I was wondering if the ETA SFSO from Precious Time is the same as the one that Silix sells. Does the one that Silix sells also has the ETA 2824 movement or the ETA 2824-2 ? I know that the SFSO from PT has the 2824-2.
  2. Wowieeee what a nice strap!!! Great combo. Where did you buy it?
  3. Precious Time is also offering the same rubber strap

  5. Hahahaha Some people are soooo stupid...
  6. Hi Jakub, I sent you my UPO crystal yesterday. Please let me know when the crystal shows up.
  7. What's wrong with the strap from PT and Silix? That's also 1:1 ??
  8. I think the UPO from josh, Precious Time or andrew is the one that you can modify easy with double AR from Jakub (55 dollars) and a seperate dail with correct logo (about 24 dollars) from Silix. Then you have a priceless watch that can compare with the real thing.
  9. Thnx guys. I hope some people can use this information. About the lello datewheel; I think it is to expensive...It's cheaper to use a ETA datewheel.
  10. I made a little how-to brush topic. Please check: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=59859
  11. Hi all, I brushed my Breitling Navitimer Serie Special with some good results. Some guy from Replica Watch Info (Importr) PM'ed me a little how-to. I wanna share this how-to. First, remove the straps and case back. Use Blu-Tac in a big blob or (if its too tight) the correct Breitling-style caseback or Jaxa-type tools. Remove crown, take out movement and also the pusher buttons. Removing the buttons can be tricky as the tiny 'C' clips can get lost. I then removed the glass (pop it out with your fingers)- but you may prefer to leave it on... I used a proper watchmakers tool, an abrasive wheel that feels like compacted soft sand...here's where I bought it - the MEDIUM type http://www.cousinsuk.com/default.aspx?disp...roductid=456115 ...fitted to an upright variable speed drill. Have it on slow speed and press the case against it so that the brushing happens in one direction only. If you dont want to buy the wheel, it is also possible to use a new scouring pad. I would say that the wheel produces the most even and tidy pattern. Having said that, I used BOTH, to get the parts that the wheel wouldn't fit in. Try to get the same grain and direction all over the watch case, including the bezel. The wheel might scratch the glass, thats why I took it out. Next, you need to brush the crown and then the buttons. Try to have the brush pattern happen in one direction only... ...the genuine... Now thoroughly clean the case and glass, might even be worth putting the vaccum cleaner nozzle near it. The particles from the Artifex wheel get everywhere! Use the Blu-Tac to get hard to reach bits out. Refit the pusher buttons, mov't etc and crown. Finally refit the caseback. My Genuine Fighter Navi has a polished caseback. So I would leave it as is. Stand back and admire your work of art! (hopefully) Real on the left, rep on the right
  12. The Navitimer Serie Special has always a brushed case!! It's a big flaw if you have a Serie Special with a chrome case.
  13. I put a ETA datewheel in the watch. It is also possible to get a Lello datewheel but in my opinion the money isn't worth it. If somebody needs help with modding please let me know.
  14. Thnx all for the great replys!! Brushing the case is very easy but it takes some time to get it done. A crystal with AR is so much better!!!
  15. Hi all, Some months ago I posted some pictures of my Navitimer Serie Special that I bought in Turkey. With some help from K2222 I managed to get some great AR on this watch. And with some information how-to brush the case from Importr (Replica Watch Info) the watch became more genuine. THANK YOU GUYS!!!! I also put an ETA datewheel in this watch. First I show you guys a picture of the navitimer before the modding: After a couple of weeks I wanted a more genuine watch so I started modding. Here the pictures: Can you see the brushed surface? And a wristshot: What do you think? I'm very happy with the results. I know that you all are curious how much I spend on this project. Okay let's take a look: Watch: 200 euro AR: 38 euro Datewheel 5 euro Watchmaker 60 euro (installing crystal and movement cleaning) Total 303 euro / 443.93 dollars
  16. Does the rubber strao from Precious Time features the words 'Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean' on the inside.(007strap)???
