  1. Finally managed to take a look at it. I can't see anything wrong...
  2. Very sorry to hear but just my 2 cents about Toro. I have dealt several times with him in the past and he always came through and once had to reject a watch according to qc's 3 times. Obviously, this is stressful for a td and I know that. But he was very kind and replaced it again until it was perfect. His communication is certainly not the fastest but he is a stand up guy and I will deal with him again in the future. Not saying you are wrong kargo, but just my experience Hope all can be solved quickly.
  3. Nice AP! Is it with the new decorated movement from noob?
  4. Will be home from university this weekend. I have all my watchmaking tools at home. Will upload new pics asap.
  5. no in switzerland watchmakers are obviously against reps so I didn't want them to open it. But they used their demagnetizer and it didn't change anything.
  6. I brought the watch to a watchsmith yesterday and he tried it with the demagnetizer but didn't work unfortunately.
  7. Thanks a lot for your help Will try it on my own and otherwise should be a quick fix for every watchsmith. Cheers
  8. Ok so I will bring it to a watchsmith. Do they need to open the caseback or is it sufficient to just drop the watch next to the demagnetizer?
  9. Ok yes that was the first thing I thought where the hairspring is but did not know that this can happen from magnetization. Could I also simply remove the oscillating c'ck and put it back together or is demagnetizing the only solution in this case?
  10. Thanks for you reply sir. How do you see that and is it as easy as getting it demagnetized?
  11. Since you are probably located in Germany send domi an email and he will take care of it. He's an excellent watchmaker and easy to deal with. Only drawback is his waiting time which is about 10weeks. But well worth it and you have not customs issues at all.
  12. Bought this iwc mark xvi for a friend and it worked flawlessly for him the last 2 months. Suddenly it stopped and I told him I will look at it. So guys can anybody imagine what happened? When I checked it it seems like the oscillating c'ck is out of place or the screw which is missing (marked with a red circle) is somewhere in the movement. Any help is much appreciated. Cheers
  13. Nice to see you on the rollie side Mr. A! Sharp combination with the second hand and red strap
  14. Definitely true and gens are extrememy overpaid. Moreover, as long as the quality is so good as some reps are I don't mind paying a topup but what I want to say is that the prices are increasing pretty quickly and they won't stop until they sell less. Obviously that is how the market works and they can supply what we demand so in the end we can't blame them for this Nevertheless, some new watches are priced too high in my opinion.
  15. Did some research on watchbus.net a chinese forum and stumbled upon some interesting facts. For instance the new omega seamaster 300 they charge 4999 twd which is around 157usd!! Now compare this with what we pay! An other example is the rolex noob 116610 with sa3135 which is about 3000twd cheaper (around 100usd). So it is pretty obvious to me that we just pay a significant higher price. Obviously all the dealears adapt their prices like a cartel and nobody is selling much below the going rate of all the english pages we buy our watches from. As you all know prices are increasing steadily and this upwards spiral won't stop as long as we are ready to drop 500usd + on reps. Take a look at the pictures and do some research on your own Cheers
  16. Very nice write up and interesting to read glad you found an sub you like for such a low price. May you upload some pics of it? Would be interesting to see.
  17. Very nice just ordered a gen leather strap for mine. Can't wait to arrive Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
  18. Thanks for your motivating words. I hope it turns out like that and after all student life isn't that bad at all, but sometimes even reps are not in the budget any news about your ap?
  19. Thanks actually not thinking abour it. Not even finish yet
  20. Very kind offer of him I tottaly understand your dilemma. I am sure there will be people all over the watch for the quality parts but in case you really like the watch and intend to wear it Domi is deffinitely the man to go. Either way I wish you good luck I certainly don't have as much watches as you do but as a student I have the same problems with funds
  21. You still have problems with the watch? Very sorry to hear but had an A7750 serviced by domi and it runns like a champ and is extrememy silent. He does perfect work and I am 100% he gets your watch running again! just needs a lot of time but it will be more than worth it good look unfortunately I am not staying in uk otherwise I would be glad to help you out.
