Congratulations and very nice watch enjoy

Just use a dial protecter when removibg the hands and be very gentle when putting them back on. Once you removed the dial I am pretty sure you can simply glue the dwo back onto the date wheel and everything should be fixed. Keep us up to date

Hulk on eBay. Gen? Fake? What do you think?
sputim replied to hunvaakaren's topic in General Discussion
Looks like a bp hulk! This bastard only shows pictures from angles where itis very hard to tell! But the pearl is not gen and insert numbers are too thin and definitely not platinium! -

Haha just posted the same in the wtb section pm us mates if you have a spare one.

Cheapest way I know is to get a cartel daytona with the venus movement. The dial can be replaced by a better yuki dial for instance and only mod is to change the subdial position sec @6 which is frozen upwards. Pushers are also asymmetrical on the cartel model

Welcome and looking forward to seeing your collection

Forget about the skydweller! Rest just choose one from one our td's and you will be happy. Btw go with am asian eta and don't waste the money on the topup for a "swiss eta"!

Ok thank you guys. Figured out that there is no dwo glued on so its just the printed date wheel which I leave as it is and i will glue a dwo on. I did email cousins uk and wait for their answer. Nevertheless, the logo is there and my hands I orderet from rafflestime do fit so it is at least a dg movement even though not the same shown on their website.

No stamp at all This is my first order from cousins uk and this seems highly unprofessional to me. I will contact them asap and see what they do about it. Nevertheless, is the dwo easy to remove from the cartel movement? I somehow didn't find a good tutorial which shows how to remove and change date wheels. Edit: ok there is a stamp but was only visibli upon very very close inspection. So is it the right dg3804 or not now? Very confused

Oh I didn't compare it upon arrival to the one pictured on their website. Now I see it definitely looks different. Something I immediately recognized was that it is very loud and seems to be of inferior quality. I have everything ready for my build except of the cartel 1655 which is on its way via uk but should arrive within 1 or 2 weeks. Hence, I started to mess around with the "dg3804 to see how to swap the dwo over. So in case this is a cheap knock off what should I do? Should I write cousins uk and tell them that they did send me the wrong item? Thanks for you help mate

I know it's probably a noob question but it's my first time working on a dg3804 movement and also the first time messing around with the dwo. Since I am in the middle of a 1675 build based on the cartel 1655 case I ordered a dg3804 movement from cousins uk. The movement seems to work fine and all I need to do is to swap the cartel dwo to the dg movement. I tried to pry out the date wheel with a pair of tweezers but this doesn't seem to work since the teeths of the date wheel are sitting around the movement. So do I have to remove the plate (see the marked screws) in order to remove the date wheel or can I simply pry off the dwo of the cartel watch and glue it on top of the dg date wheel? Any help is appreciated Cheers, sputim

AP Forged Carbon Diver Noob v4 pics
sputim replied to markiemark's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
Congratulations on your first AP. This watch looks fantastic and it is especially nice when the sun is shining to see the structure of the carbon fibre. The hands are much better on the noob version than on the ap fc v3. I definitely have to source noob hands for my v3 since it looks much better -
Hublot Big Bang SS and AP ROO 44mm Forged Carbon
sputim replied to positivitony's topic in General Discussion
Very nice watches and they seem to fit you well! However, stop playing around with the chrono function! It is definitely not recommended on asian 7750 movements unless you want to have movement issues quickly. Albeit that, the a7750 is a great movement especially after having it serviced. Just warning you Enjoy the watches and good choice buying from our fellow member Legend -
We should start a poll with the help of angus. To do a super rep of this watch is more than feasible and many would consider to buy it since there aren't too many super reps in terms of dress watches

Its aweful! And the "why" you have to find out on your own by doing some research. Nevertheless, unless you are not blind it should take not more than a blink of an eye
-
And it can be answered with a simple Yes Again great work Thomas!

Totally in love with this Tudor Will get a gen distressed leather strap for it to complete the look!
-
Disagree with you Ezio. It is a v3 or at least a v2. The pearl is new so not v1 like and the skinny crown on the dial is very common for v2/v3. Also the crown has very nice and deep teeths unlike the bp version so it is noob for sure. So the watch looks very nice except of the date issue which you can fix
-
Definitely works and relatively easy to do. You won't lose much with the ln so don't worry. Tc's are sought after and if you are lucky you have an old case with better rehaut

What a beautiful piece mate! I am building one myself based on the cartel 1655 case. Have all the party ready and only waiting for the case to arrive. Will try to mod the case esüecially the cg's my own but probably will end up with sendinh it to RA
