  1. If its wooden, and varnished, then you could refurbish it by using fine sand paper, and revarnish.

As Mike says my friend, stick to our TD's and you will not only get the rep you want, but you will also get the customer service you deserve, plus should anything go wrong, your covered.
  3. Thats what I was about to say. Where did you get it from?
  4. Cheers, sadlt the original sales thread was in the old forum from 2005/6
  5. This is where my dilemma is, I do not know the maker of my LV case. I had posted a thread asking if anyone knew, and posted photos, but never got a answer. It's an Eddie Lee LV Sub with Swiss ETA 2836-2.
  6. I would like to know too, and also the list of reps that accept a gen crystal.
  7. Indeed, Im after a gen LV insert, but there's no way I'm paying $500 for one.
  8. Looking forward to what you find out mate. I was quite surprised too that this mall watch guy was unfamiliar with this common movement.
  9. Mike to the rescue. I will have some work for you in the near future too Mike
  10. Can you not ask the PO of your sub to answer the quires you have?
  11. In the UK there are stores called LIDL which sometimes stock cheap power tools.
  12. If you say you have a gen insert and wonder if the bezel assembly is gen, then I have to ask, did the gen insert fit straight in, or did you have to sand it down? If you had to sand it down to fit, the the bezel assembly could well be rep. I maybe wrong, but this is how I understand it.
  13. That bracelet Mike is amazing isn't it, see the dual springs in it? Incredible craftsmanship. I have never seen a watch like this before, what material is it made of? Looks a cross between some type of Carbon, and Titanium. Most impressed!
  14. Now that's interesting, but as you say, you are happy with your rep, so jobs a goodun my friend.
  15. Looks stunning, I want!
  16. Looks good, but has happy feet. This could be correct though as logo is printed. Iirc, printed = Happy Feet, badge = No Happy Feet. Best let someone else more familiar with Omega's to chime in my friend.
  17. I've already asked him He's in Finland, same country as me, so hoping he can help me out with AR on my soon to be incoming CrPO
  18. I have recently got a sub from TT, and I too have has the glidelock failure. Andrew has arranged for a replacement bracelet to be sent to me after I posted a video showing the failure. Which model did you buy from the TT website, and how much? Mine was only a cheapie at $138 plus $70 shipping (Triangular) and has several flaws, but I can live with them until the time I start to mod it. Like yours, my marker at 9 is off, so too is the triangle at 12, which yours looks slightly better than mine, hence why I asked about price you paid. Your dot markers appear to be larger than normal too, and could possibly be LV dot markers. (Green Bezel sub). There is a saying, and it is true in the rep world, you only get what you pay for.
  19. Hi all, could you take a look of this dial on ebay for what it says is a vintage sub, but looks like an ideal dial replacement for an LV Sub I have. (Its an old one from Eddie Lee back in 2005). Im unsure if its 1, Genuine, 2 if its a good used dial, and 3, is it the correct dial for an LV. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Rolex-Submariner-Oyster-Perpetual-Date-1000ft-Watch-Tritium-Dial-Swiss-/121075076413?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c30a30d3d I'm still unsure what the differences are exactly between a normal sub dial, and an LV sub dial, could someone please explain these differences? Thanks for your time. Micky
  20. Welcome to the forums my friend, please check out the stickies for new members, and FAQ, also use the search feature which will save you a lot of time, posting questions that have already been asked and answered. My advice, read, read read, learn, become familiar with the various Trusted Dealers here, and the watches they offer.
