I would sale the Daytona ASAP... (to me) and then buy the watch that you love and want... Like you said you can always build another Daytona sometime down the road. You and I both will be happy and have the watch we want and you can just build another one. PM ME... I am dead serious.

@ceo... you really have no idea how much more worse it gets... I also just joined just over 3 months ago and I went from buying REPs to buying modded reps.... to now I ONLY want superfrankens... or.... build superfrankes. I literally have spent over $12K in watches over the last 3 months. I could have 2-3 nice GENS on my wrist but the process and stories and friendships we build are just different then just going to a store and dropping $5K on a watch all at once. Good luck as time goes one... you are only going to want more and more.

@papa.... do you own a TC LV or have you seen one in person? If you do or have you would want to have two (2) as well. haha... Just my opinion. I have owned a hand full of franken watches and the TC LV with gen parts is as GEN like as you can get to a GEN... They are beautiful watches. I did however have to let one of them go as I am working on building ANOTHER superfranken watch... pics to follow in the next week or two.

Nice Looking TC you have there my man... These Yachtmasters are growing on me and I may have to find one that we can go franken with... with that said... here are some pics of GENS: Let me know how you think your BK looks compared to these.

Gen Insert & Crystal... the gen crystals really do make a HUGE difference, IMO. Not sure how the clasp is but if its not that good then get a TC. You will have an AWESOME SSD.

@eric, from what I understand it all depends on the year the TT watch was made. The earlier TT watches such as the 16803 started out with the SS clasp and then the newer ones did have the TT clasp.

As far as the bracelet, I may end up going with something LIKE this.... Its from a trusted vendor (feedback) and they state that its SOLID gold and not gold plated. Wish there was someone I could talk to that has a TT bracelet from them. @sig... thank you... I am not sure I want to go with a GEN bracelet and drop $2,500.00 I am already pretty deep as far as $$ goes on this build. Not just that I am not sure I want to drop $2,500 just on the bracelet and have it get beat up. When this watch is all said and done and I spend roughly $1K on a decent bracelet I will be pretty damn close dollar wise to buying a GEN. Difference... The story and process of sourcing parts and building the watch. Plus 99% of all of these parts are brand new. All 16803's on the bay are used and you never know what the original owner did to them.

This will be coming your way MD once I get all of the parts in my hands and can source a TT bracelet... Hopefully sometime next week

Okay guys... I have here some teaser shots (pics) and I also have a request on sourcing some GEN and/or GEN spec parts for this superfranken build. I have not seen ONE person on these forums with a franken/superfranken TT sub and this is my #2 GRAIL... I am hoping that these are not a common build so that I start to set a trend.... Here is my current build list of items I have: Gen Crystal (AR'd).... Yes, I like AR'd better then non... I chose to go AR'd.... don't tell me its wrong. Gen spec case Gen springbars Gen bezel click spring Gen Blue/Gold Dial Gen Blue/Gold Insert Gen Gold Handset (tritium) Gen Crown/tube Gen 3035 Movt with Gen champaign DW WHAT I NEED: 1) Gold Bezel 2) TT bracelet I have a couple of people who are looking into these items for me but I wanted to see if any of you have any other options... OR... have these two items already that you would sale. I am NOT looking for cheap parts. As you can see from my build list I have already spent a lot of money to build this watch and I am not looking to put cheap parts on the watch.

I personally know that this is NOT a TC build. The hour markers are too thick (silver round markers). The SEL fitment is also not as GEN like as the TC. Also, the cyclops magnification does not seem to be all that good as the date does not fill up the cyclops... Obviously the crown and insert as you already mentioned. I am not sure WHERE its from but its not one of the BEST such as a TC. My .2 cents.... This is what a TC should look like (gen crystal, insert, crown):

bwhitesox, thank you for the advise... I am not worried about dropping $1300 on a GEN SS bracelet. I have put a lot of money into this watch to make it a superfranken and by putting a gen ss bracelet on I am not far off from spending the same amount as a 100% GEN... and I am 99% GEN. I just want the feedback on... IF... the ss bracelet would fit... if I purchased one.

Hey guys, I am looking to trade out my GEN leather bracelet currently on Breitling Navitimer with a GEN SS bracelet. Before I do that I wanted to make sure that a GEN SS would fit on this case. Here are a few pictures of the aftermarket (rep) case. I would guess that its about 5 years old. The gen leather bracelet fits perfect (like a glove) but I want to make sure the SEL's, etc, would align just as good. Please let me know your thoughts before I go out and spend the money on a GEN.
