Simple today....

I just received my BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX - TC LV III this week.... I can agree that each of the changes made are well worth the wait. Also, I can agree that getting the GEN insert in the bezel is very difficult without a press. But it does fit.

YM today... it really is amazing what baby oil will do for the bracelet... night and day difference.

Dont worry guys... Mike can be trusted... He has had $4,500+ part of mine building a SuperFranken 16803... he has had it for almost 8 weeks. He is behind but working to get caught up. Be patient... I trust him with my watch and parts and know that we will all be taken care of.

That thing is a beauty my friend.... I am a car nut... I am also seriously considering the STILLEN supercharger kit that they make for the 370z. Takes the motor to 500hp... I think that would be a fun little rocket to drive around town on the weekends.

New TC Sub came today... installed the new GEN insert:

And for those that have not seen the new DWO that TC is doing...... WOW.... just WOW.... even though 99.99% of people will never notice, especially on my wrist... this attention to detail is amazing. The raised/glossy font really does look amazing. Also, for the record, I chose to go with the black insert. I have a LV insert on my other TC Type II and I like the maxi dial and the black insert combo....

Yeah... I want to know what Matt did to the watch as well. Is it the picture or is the blue on this watch a little darker than the GEN? I have not been a big fan of the Sub-c's but I am quickly becoming a fan and I am sure I will own one.... soon.... I own 3 TC's subs.

Received my TC sub (brand new out of the box)..... installed my gen insert and away we go... I dont care what anyone says, I have owned all of the different makes and TC is hands down the BEST SUB out of the box: I also have a GEN crystal and crown to install as well.... coming soon over the next week.

If the dial was offset then the cyclops would be off center as well, is this the case? If the cyclops is not centered then you should be able to notice that the dial just needs to be turned just a bit to align. But.... if the cyclops is centered over the date window then I am going to lean towards the others and say to get another watch. I have built a few frankens/superfrankens and I personally would want the watch to be PERFECT. My .2 cents.

I agree, the blue tint (AR'd) is suppose to be on the Sub-c... AND... I LOVE the AR'd (blue tint) over the non-AR'd crystals.

Hey guys, I know we all love different opinion and reviews based on the different watches that we all love. We all know that the TC Sub is the best sub out there (in my opinion). I just purchased a BK YM from another member on the forum with a GEN crystal and GEN crown/tube. I must say that I am overall very pleased with the quality of the work on this BK YM. For having a number of superfranken watches this BK YM really is a nice watch. The only issues/concern I have with this watch is the bracelet and clasp. The TC V3 bracelet is very well constructed and fits the Sub perfectly. The BK YM bracelet is a 7 out of 10 for me. I think there could be a lot better quality and fitment to the case..... So now I am in search of a better bracelet to really make this thing pop. Here are a few pics just for fun and comparison. Again, this is not comparing SUB for SUB but better yet the overall quality of the TC build and a BK YM build... and.... my opinion:

Very nice... welcome to the club... beware it becomes VERY addicting very quickly. I started just a few months ago and now have WAY to much money tied up into superfranken reps. Good Luck!
