I have a nice 16710 with ETA 2893 and would like to turn it into a franken 16750. There are some very nice gen dials available but I don't know if the date window will fit the 2893? Does anyone of you know that?

Ja...the gen gilt dials I found on the net have either a minute chapter ring or the writing is in white. The seller stated that it is a true negative relief gilt dial. It's already on its way and with a little luck the sellers statement is true. If so I don't care if it's a fantasy dial or not...it looks very nice after all (to me)

...sorry mate but I don't know what you are talking about with that groove/rabbet. I bought the whole thing, rotating bezel, tension ring and retaining ring. Bought them over at the bay...easy to find...just search for 5513 bezel

Usually I avoid political discussions even though I have a political opinion...in most cases these discussion lead to nowhere. But you guys took it to another level...the first political discussion I ever saw that is right to the facts and without any anger... I as a German have a sligth different view than you guys over there in the US of A I guess...back in 1932 the people voted "sick of bullsh*t" and had the NSDAP as the largest party...you know how it ended. This vote two days ago gives all the rightist parties in the world an immense push...here in Germany we have the AfD which is a rightist party and they went from 0 to actually 12% (that was before Trump won the vote!). Front National is about to take over France, PIS won in Poland, FPÖ has the most votes in Austria, SVP is the most powerful party in Switzerland, PVV is it in the Netherlands, Fidesz in Hungary, DF the second in Denmark, Lega Nord the third in Italy same as "Goldene Morgenröte" in Greece...and so on and so on...and that is only Europe! Our world is getting darker every day and even though Hillary is not an an Angel, not at all...her vote would have been less dangerous from my point of view...but maybe my point of view is wrong. I hope DT is just a bad ass populist and all his speech was just about to win the vote....
